I was hiking today and saw 7 separate box turtles. I wish I had taken photos of the first three, but this is by far the most I’ve seen in a day! Two days ago I was hiking and I saw 3 box turtles on a different trail. So 10 individual box turtles in 3 days. I guess what I’m trying to say is, life going pretty well 😁
Caught three of them in the act of munching mushrooms, it’s rained a lot lately and the mushrooms were the reason I was out hiking. The turtles were a very pleasant surprise

I’m fairly sure this is in Caesarea. I just want to verify!! found near Raleigh North Carolina USA near tulip poplar in the woods. I normally eat Jacksonii but this one threw me off, it’s not what I normally encounter.
We’ve got the same dentist, and I talked to him as I was leaving and he was pulling in. He’s got one of those big robot trucks, and he asked me “what’re you in for?”. I showed him my tooth that had been broken when I tried to snatch a piece of pie off my wife’s plate.
He told me to just “cheese it hard, do it with a bit of mustard. You don’t need to pay for that”. I was confused so I asked him “eat cheese with mustard? How’s that gonna help?” His whole demeanor changed. He got really serious and told me to “just cut out the GMO bullshit, and fucking cheese it hard. Don’t kid yourself and do it with a lot of mustard. Unless you wanna waste all your money on a tooth Nazi”.
Is this normal hockey speak? Is it Ontario slang? I didn’t go into the dentists office because he just stood there until I got back in my car, staring at me. It hurts a lot though.
When we went into overtime in game 3 the canes had scored 5 goals in the series. The Canadiens had scored 8. We’d been blown out in the first game, and eked out an OT win in game 2.
Game 3 was tied 2-2 at the start of our second straight overtime. We then proceeded to score 10 unanswered goals and demolished the ECF curse. What a way to punch our ticket into the finals. Pretty incredible stretch of hockey 💪
Breaking news, the Carolina Hurricanes have officially retired their goal horn. They have also removed the horn that proceeds their “let’s go canes” chant, as well as the chant itself. According to Elliotte Friedman, every goal will be followed by Wade Minger announcing the following:

I’ve managed to get all the Gila Monster skins, armadillo skins, and collared peccary pig pelts in chapter 2 with the out of bounds glitch. I found several older posts on here that helped a lot, but they were split up. Someone said they found the Armadillo but couldn’t find the others, same for the pigs and some for the Gila monster. I just wanted to post that all three are possible out of bounds, and there are more spawns for the pigs than I found in other posts.
The pigs I’ve found from the markers on the right all the way to right above Rathskeller Fork. I’ve had better luck at night. Gila monsters and Armadillos have always been in the cluster of markers in the middle. My hope is to use the meat shield technique to get the legendary pelts in New Austin. I don’t know if it’s possible, I’m thinking about trying to drop into New Austin somewhere farther along while I’m out of bounds, maybe trying the meat shield glitch in the cave? Has anyone ever gotten it to work for the legendary pelts? Just a little motivation that it’s possible would help a ton. I want to complete all the trapper outfits in Chapter 2.
I wanted to give an update on the cat I found! On the website for its microchip I couldn’t report it found, and it wouldn’t give me the phone number/email. I had called the place where it was installed, and they gave me the owners info. I emailed and tried to call but it wouldn’t go through. I called the microchip place back, and found out it was the wrong number! I contacted the correct number, but didn’t hear back until today. I think that it might have been caught in a spam filter, or simply missed by the owner.
She has been in the hospital for the last three weeks due to a bad car crash, and her cousin accidentally let the cat out. I was right about her being an indoor only cat! No outside experience. We think that she found her way into the work truck and went all the way to the job site with us, 20-30 miles away. She must have walked 3 miles to end up where the work truck was in the first place. A neighbor of my boss may have been leaving food out for strays, and that’s how she ate. Her mom was driven out by a family member to pick her up, she’s still unable to walk or drive herself due to the injuries sustained in the crash. They’re very excited to be back together, and you could tell Shortcake was super happy to see her mom.
Found this sweetheart under our work truck today. I heard meowing coming from the truck, and she was in the wheel well!! She hopped out and continued to meow furiously, and walked around a bit dazed. At first I thought she was just a cat who lived nearby, but we were in the middle of the city and she kept walking around the condos we were working at crying. She would look around for long periods of time, and something seemed off about her behavior. I asked all of the neighbors and the superintendent if anyone knew whose she was, but no one had a clue.
I took her to a vet to have her scanned, and got a hit! Name, phone number, and email address. I called and texted the number but no response. I emailed but no response either. I looked up the name and the only thing I could find is an ongoing divorce case with the owner, and her wife’s name. The case has the name of her attorney listed. I feel bad reaching out to her divorce attorney, as it’s a very intimate detail that I now know. Even more of an intimate detail is that her wife is apparently missing as well, which means I can’t reach out to her. How long should I wait to reach out to her attorney? The attorney should be willing to reach out to her on my behalf right? I have the owners address as well (could be an old one, it was 30 mins from where I found her) but that seems over the line, just showing up unannounced. It’s only been one day, but I know when I lost my cat I was going crazy! It was a terrible experience.
Also she slept the whole way to my house, 45 minutes away. Then slept all day here, outside of eating and using the litter box. She was obviously very exhausted from the experience, I don’t know how long she’s been out but she’s 1000% a house cat/lap cat 😂 I doubt she gets out very often, if at all.
Hopefully someone can help me out. I hate eating almost everything, but I also want people to understand that I’m a very culinary person.

I’ve gotten away with not putting toppings on pizza by saying “I’m a purist. Cheese pizza is the only way to get the true essence of the pizza”. When people mention Neapolitan pizza, I tell them that I would only ever eat it if I were in Naples. It’s not the same in the states.
I’m just hoping to get some advice on how to make things like chicken nuggets and ketchup seem more culinarily inclined. If my friends find out I’m a picky eater they probably won’t think less of me, but I want them to think MORE of me. Currently in the process of honing my knife skills. I feel like if everyone saw me cut an onion as fast as one of those YouTube chefs, they’d probably be less inclined to question my food choices. Thanks again for any help!
Let’s assume that you will always pull the lever, or attempt to stop the trolley.
Let’s also assume that there is some chance that the trolley can be stopped before making it to the switch point, even if that chance is exceedingly small.
There will always be exactly 1 more person who lives if you pull the lever than if you don’t.
You will be randomly placed somewhere in the world, so your surroundings are unknown until the problem starts.
You’ll know the exact number of people on each track before the problem begins.
The trolley will not run over the people on the tracks, but instead instantly kill them when it passes the switch point. This way the physics of stopping it doesn’t interfere with the problem
The trolley is 3 miles away from the switch point traveling at 60mph, you are 1 mile from the switch point giving you two minutes to act. The trolley will have 1 mile to be potentially slowed after you act.
If you decide to try and stop the trolley, you will no longer be allowed to pull the lever. You must decide whether to try and stop the trolley before you know your location, based solely on how many people there are.
When the problem begins, you can use absolutely anything at your disposal. It’s a 45 ton trolley.
How many people would it take for you to decide to try and stop the trolley? Or is there no number of people that would convince you to try?
Just purchased a couple hours ago, ran it for 15-20 minutes without any issues. Still starts up no problem, and still starts spinning the head at half throttle automatically when the blue throttle tab is up. The trigger doesn’t work at all now, no resistance behind it. Even after I throttle it back down, nothing. I’m wondering if this is a product issue, or user error. Is there something I’m missing? Over a quarter tank of fuel left as well.
