Macro Calculators

Hi All,

So many calculators out there, all giving different ranges so needing to get advice for the most trusted or well used calculators.

Here's my situation, I am a 34 year old Female, I was once upon a time 120kgs and now I fluctuate between 64-67kgs depending on my cycle, all weight lost from nutrition and exercise only over the last 9 years. I'm also 158cm tall for context

I'm now at the time where I want to start recomposition on my body (I have excess skin on arms and thighs but have had a tummy tuck) to display more of the hard work I've done.

I have a desk job so during the day I'm not overly active, but I have a home gym and I train/teach aerials and pole also several times a week. I live in regional Australia so I don't have access to things like body fat scanning etc at this stage, but I'd estimate approx 26-30% body fat on myself, hard to tell with some of the loose skin.

The ranges on different calculations I've put into different macro calculators have ranged from 2,071-1,257 calories per day, and I've input the same information to them all.

Please send tips and advice

Many thanks x

Meal planning/macros

Hi All,

Putting a old photo and a recent photo for attention.

Looking for this man who correctly guessed a bunch of information in Phuket

Ok so my parents are currently in Phuket and completely bamboozled (my mum wants to see this guy again or get information)

They walked out of a shop and some gentleman greeted them, and said he knew my mum's name and date of birth etc , then wrote it all down and showed her the paper, all correct.

Then asked if they believed in god etc, then continued on to correctly guess both their parents names, dates of birth, my brother's name, my son's name and other bits and pieces all correctly (and its only them on the holiday in Phuket)

Usually my dad is a skeptic and stuff but even he was amazed

So now my mum hasn't stopped thinking about this man all day and wants to see him again if anyone knows anything or who he is, please help out

Aussie at home IPL recommendations

Hi All

Been contemplating at home IPL devices like the illumi & hello silly etc that is budget friendly and hopefully not a waste of money and time, looking to try and shop one of the EOFY sales

What would you recommend or steer clear of?

I can't really afford the $500 price tag for the good Phillips etc so definitely looking more budget friendly if possible

Thanks in advance!

Waiting for kits for myself and son, just worried nothing will show for his paternal side - Australia

Hi DNA team!

I've just ordered my ancestry DNA kits for myself and my teenage son. I am hoping to get clarification on who his biological father may be, I was young and dumb when I fell pregnant with him. He would also like to know.

I don't "need" the DNA testing on myself but I ordered for both of us to his line will show his maternal side of things, but I thought it would help narrow it down if we both did it.

Now my question is, how common is it for now paternal line to show up?

We live in Australia, I have searched all I can for the mean time (until the DNA testing comes and then we get results) for the paternal line I think he may belong too, with no luck of any family loggings or trees so far.

I've searched the one who I think is his biological father, his siblings and his parents and can't find anything apart from Australian Business Numbers, regardless I could be wrong on who I think it is also.

But I am just forward worried that he will get no results or logs on the paternal side and we don't want to reach out to who I think it is until we hopefully find a bit more out from DNA.

Any insights and advice on what to actively look out for, how to start / understand results when they come in etc would be amazing, I am in over my head with this and ordered on a whim.

Thanks in advance

X

Pizza oven came with the house, how to use it? 😂

For reference, we just recently moved into the house and they left this home made DIY pizza oven. It needs a good clean out but just getting advice on how this would be used?

It's got no chimney and I've never owned something like this before so hoping the experts out here can give some help and pointers please & thank you!

Pants suggestions

Those who wear long pants that aren't typically pole leggings, where are you buying your pants from?

I don't always like my legs being on show and was thinking of some faux leather/ wet look.

Even better if you have purchased and in Australia :)

Hi All

I've been an Aerial's instructor for a fair years, have moved away from where I teach to a regional setting and am in the process of opening my own home studio, and hoping to eventually open a full studio.

I have registered a business number, business name, have put in quotes for insurances (it's a weekend so waiting to hear back from brokers etc), have a certified & engineered large rig, slowly started chipping away at building a social media for when I'm opening and generated a online booking system for when I am ready to go.

Just looking for advice or what should be next steps etc.

I know I need content, I'm not very social media / content creation savvy but I'm about to do some online courses to help with that and how to make quality videos / content.

I want to eventually do community engagement classes and be able to have group sessions in a proper studio but have to start from somewhere.

Advice and suggestions is welcome , I know it'll be a slow process but I'm passionate and hopeful...

Much love x
