My girls getting older. Gonna be 8 soon. She was in a 55 gallon and now i’ve upgraded to 100 gallons. Spends most of her day walking around or in the pot, or following me around the room to the best of her ability. I wanna get more plants though she has a track record of ripping them out.

Had to do an urgent water change, she was not happy about the container i had her in and just stared at me in the corner distorting her face
I just moved into this house, and am looking for ideas for my kitchen. I posted somewhere else and everyone told me to modernize! Not happening! I’m mainly looking for a good paint color and curtain ideas and just anything else that could be fun. House was built in 1962 so it’s got some odd quirks. What do you guys think could bring some life into here?
Have owned this home with my partner for about 2 months now. I want my home to feel cozy and welcoming and also off putting, any ideas how to improve the living room? I’m planning on getting a large painting/print for above the couch but i just want some thoughts. We are both 20 so embrace the ridiculous stuffed animals lol.
This is a new tank that’s currently cycling. I have to add the rest of the decorations so ignore the empty space, do we think this light tone is fine to leave on for most of the day with various hides if she needs them? I just have it because my living room gets no natural sunlight and i’d like my tank plants to survive. Just don’t wanna hurt my creatures little eyes, aimed for a marsh color and not bright white.

I am not close with my mother and haven’t been since i was 11. I still find myself wishing i was close with her even though i don’t like a single thing about her, so regretfully i tried to make mother’s day plans with her. So far all day she’s been complaining she’s tired and that i don’t have to see her and that my sister invited her to come get coffee and she doesn’t wanna see my sister either. Every time i try and make amends with her i am reminded why our relationship is how it is. At the end of the day i am a little kid in an adult body missing their mommy, but she doesn’t miss me. Next year i wont try again i dont think.
TLDR i tried to hang out with my mom and she’s irritated about it and im just feeling rejected i guess
Are there any cool thrifts in town that have a large furniture selection? I’ve been to the 22nd antique mall and the big new savers, and also the golden goose. I’m looking for more places to go. I went to a few antique stores that just ended up being rich people show rooms selling 70s furniture for $8000 a piece and was disappointed and also felt looked down on by the staff lol.
I got this pothos around a month ago, it was very small but sturdy, i put it in this chicken pot(named pie) (get it? chicken pot pie?) and it’s starting to really spread out. I really like it as the center piece to my table.
