TBVH, NUST really needs to give students a proper, transparent outline of its scholarship criteria. If your parents income falls within this range, you get this percentage; this range gets that percentage , and above this, its a big NO .

Hundreds of students apply hoping for financial aid, but most don’t even know whether they realistically have a chance. And that’s a huge problem.

A lot of genuinely talented students may end up spending the next four years at UET, Air, or NED simply because NUST wasn’t financially feasible now .

Not everyone’s father is a retired officer or a business owner. Some families have a father earning around 150k/month, two younger siblings and still have to manage tuition fees , hostel, mess, and everything else approx 350k for eng and 400k for business programs .

I live in karachi and now i will go to ned bcs 40 lakhs for a bachelors degree that too in CEME campus , nope dil ni maanta ....

What is your merit no and are u selected or not ?

I wanna ask i have interest in both Web dev and Ai/ml engineering , what to choose now ? ppl say that web dev is saturated with ai replacing the boilerplate code and eating entry level jobs while AI/ml has very fewer jobs especially in PAK and has a very steep learning curve and u gotta need a masters degree or some 2-3 year experience to land a good job . is this all true ? where to go , anyone please help out a jr . Nust ceme fees is now 221k and total fees it'll be 37 lakhs for 4 years with mess hostel and transport, coming from karachi .

I've enough merit , and I'll get into Cs of nust pnec , but I've heard there's no life there , it's still new programme and abhi bhi experiment hi horha hai whn kia parhana hai aur kia nahi . Not many seniors to guide , uniform stuff and no societies for Cs?is this all true , that teachers are rude , incompetent and it's very very boring and cs is just not upto mark . I've no one to ask please any pnec student help me

How are the labs and overall practical exposure at PIEAS? What's the internship scene like , do students get good opportunities? How's the environment, campus life, and faculty?

Also, how difficult is it to maintain a good GPA there? Is it manageable with consistent effort?

I'm trying to decide whether I should choose PIEAS or NED karachi , so I'd really appreciate if you could share the pros and cons based on your experience cuz i have to live 4 years there in hostel coming from karachi to ISB , i have less than a week to decide

I have 2 options , either to choose fast karachi or get in Ned in self finance (hardly any seats for fbise students), now i m confused fast main transport ka masla hai as it is out of city , however ned is not so much far away , i will live in hostel in fast probably . I m getting computing fields ( AI)/CE in both now what should I choose ? which uni has better environment , better events related to academics , more exposure and industry name . Ik fast main gpa ni aata aur ragra hai but iske ilawa ? tell me guys , help ur Jr i have just few hours left to pay the fee . help help :)

so its over , today was my net and some 50-60 questions were extremely difficult of maths and phy and i thought i will do them in the end , but when i reached after completing my 120-130 questions , i only had some 40 mins left , i tried and tried in last 40 mins to solve but mujse 4-5 kai ilawa kuch solve ni hua , they were extremely difficult and by the time there were 5 mins left i just marked them all B straight , like full 45 mcqs I just marked B , and as I was marking them on my OMR sheet , my hand was shaking as I knew the dream is over .... Good luck to who got in , i wanted CS / CE in seecs which feels highly unlikely now as i will end up with 115-130 marks . anyways

Pieas is widely recognized in Pak for its core fields like mech and electrical and the fact they give u 17th grade tag top candidates and fellowship etc , Not at all for CS , but every topper , every good student whether from CS , pre eng , or medical is rushing towards the tech field without 0 search , just cuz cs ka "scope" hai aur taya mamu ne bola hai tech ka zamana hai toh lelo , just look at the saturated market with Ai and tons of agents it has become so easier to repalce a jr dev , ek uni jo CS kai lie famous bhi ni usme CS ka merit uski core fields MECH and ELECTRICAL se thrice hai , funny ???Welcome to avg 18 year old mindset in PAKISTAN

well i m selling my nustrive portal , wese bhi 31 july ko khtm hojaega access , so agar kisi quetta / karachi student ko chahie access toh i m giving in 800pkr , 1/4th price

My friend has agg of 80 and he'll be choosing Bs maths , one has agg of 79 but will choose Civil engineering . I love the fact how not everyone is rushing towards CS Ai thing this year .are there any more ppl like with agg in 70s and 80s and yet opting for lower agg fields .

I only have interest in Computing related fields , but every now and then i open reddit , insta or Yt there is some Cs graduate crying about how Cs market is dead and Pakistani service based market is completely cooked , freelance is saturated and every uni is selling Cs courses so every one is a developer and with ai replacing the junior level stuff its harder than ever to break into the market ? I've got in Comsats , Fast , Ned and air university ....4 saal baad kia hoga ik we all don't know but currently whats the best advise you will give ur Junior as someone who's expert in this field and recently active in Software . Help ur jr out >

I've seen countless ppl who were expecting 90 and if going with worst case atleast 85 but many got below 80 and few in 70s too . My every mcq of Chem was from marathon and i did 24/25 right , i checked answers again yet i scored 21 only . I was hell sure i m getting 23 in maths but got 20 only and overall if not 90 atleast 85 to aane chaie the got 80 only , although i m from fbise so my seat is still secured as we have less competition here but what about Karachi board students ? unka toh ek ek mark se seat drop hojati hai , Unfair by Ned software

They have strict af dress code , they will fine if u r wearing shalwar kameez or casual dress and call if a girl ain't wearing dupatta with fine , they give u pathetic relative grading gpa which means if ur classmates are parhaku u ain't get 3 plus easy and ur masters chance will drop significantly , the campus is literally smaller than some PAF schools , no doubt we call it PAF JAIL and not a UNI , when options like comsats nust fast UET Ned are available what the hell is ur majburi? l
