Father in law promised to pay for nanny for a year but now not doing it

My FIL had promised us while I was pregnant that he would be paying for a whole year of nanny as a gift for us. We live in Midwest and not an extremely high cost city. However now we have hired a nanny he is saying he has no funds to pay it (I believe this is a lie) as he is still taking lavish vacations. Now I have to end up paying for the nanny. do I have the right to be upset? As now our whole child care strategy has changed..

Getting a snoo at 6 weeks?

I’m trying to get snoo to get my baby to sleep longer stretches at night. Currently he’s waking up every 2-3 hours to feed at night. The longest stretch is about 3.5 hours. Is there a point of getting it right now? Do you also use it for nap?

My MIL co owns a happy ending massage and I’m unsure how to handle the situation

My MIL owns a happy ending massage that provides sex services. I’ve known this for awhile but now it has bothered me more and more. I’ve talked to my husband about it and he has asked her to quit. However she says that she would have no income if she quits. Unsure how to move forward with this as it’s been bothering me a lot. I’m more worried about my parents finding out as well. We also just had a baby and I do not want her near the baby as much if she is still owning this.

TW: Success after multiple chemical pregnancies (hyper fertility?)

TW: success

I have had 1 tfmr at 13 weeks and 4 chemical pregnancies and want to share what finally worked. I suspect I have hyper fertility as I get pregnant every time we tried (except one time I added progesterone) Below are the timeline and what I tried.

July 2024: first time trying, pregnant till 11 weeks and found out baby had cystic hygroma, decided to terminate.

Jan 2025: first time trying after d&c in Sep. Tested postive but hcg never got above 10. Chemical pregnancy

Feb 2025: tested postive. Hcg was 5 and didn’t get higher. Got period at 14 dpo

March 2025: tested postive. Hcg never got above 10. Got period around 14 dpo

Decided to take a break and take doxy for suspected endometritis but never tested.

May 2025: tried progesterone starting 2 dpo. Didn’t get pregnant this month after trying

June 2025: had hysteroscopy and didn’t find endometitis or any issues. Husband tested DNA fragmentation and found 38% which is very high and very small chance of natural conception. Husband started taking antioxidants and working out. Didn’t try this cycle

Aug 2025: tried progesterone again at 5 dpo and chemical again.

Husband retested dna fragmentation and was 13%

Sep 2025: this month finally worked. I added fragmin at 9dpo and hcg kept raising.

I just wanted to share my journey to bring some hope. I truly believe that it was either fragmin or my husbands dna fragmentation that fixed the issue.

We did all sort of tests and everything came back normal.

Wildly inappropriate? [bc]

Would love some advice here! A nurse from public health came to visit me last week and when she asked how many people are in the house I told her a postpartum confidment nanny will be coming to stay with us for a month. She then said if you are both home why do you need a nanny. I said to help cook and nurse me and help take care of the baby. She then said well I want to make sure you guys are bonding with the baby and not the nanny. Then she proceeded and said her and her husband had 3 children and never had a nanny. Am I crazy to think these comments are crazy to make to a fresh post partum mom? Or is it just my hormones.. should I report her for making these comments? I was only 5 days post partum

[bc] bc women’s experience

For those who gave birth at bc women’s, how long did you have to wait for your epidural? The friends I have talked to all said they had to wait a long time (one said 8 hours due to no space). Did anyone recently give birth or have any insights? Thanks!

I have had snxx for several month now. Even when it dipped to $30. How long should I keep holding it. Currently have doubled my initial investment
