June Empties + A Few Reviews

Feel free to ask questions about anything!

-The Garnier hairspray did NOT have enough hold for my curly hair in southern humidity unfortunately. replaced with a stronger one. If you want a light hold, this is a good option, the smell is nice

-The Amen collagen is an excellent option as it has 16mg as well as vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Ive repurchased many times now.

-I used to think Magic Molecule was way too hyped but it's actually the best one I've tried so it's worth it

If person A blocks person B on Instagram without unfollowing them first, would someone viewing person A's following list still see person B in there?

I've always wondered how that works

Holy Grail Empties + Everything Else

Feel free to ask any questions!

A couple reviews:

-Cotz is my new favorite mineral sunscreen. It feels pleasant on my skin, doesn't break me out and the white cast is not too severe.

-I just switched to Magic Molecule HA spray after realizing they made this smaller bottle. Was previously using Mario Badescu, but this is a dollar cheaper for the same size.

-So happy to finally have finished the Vanicream lotion, it took me over a year because I could only use it on the back of my hands. Everytime I used it on my face or body it broke me out which is so weird.

Does anyone know the notes of the Haku Pineapple Cologne?

I got a bottle of this when I was in Hawaii at the ABC store and just ordered more. I absolutely love it alone and layered over Do Son but I have no idea what the notes are!

A reputable, talented tattoo artist was posting this proudly... major recession indicator

"Doja Cat eyebrows"

ETA: The tattoo itself is not a recession indicator. In past years the reputable, highly talented artist who did these for her would likely not have agreed to this level of job stopper for someone without lots of visible tattoos. I was making a joke that the artist took it on/ is posting it because times are tough. I realize this is not a tattoo sub so that probably wasn't as obvious so I wanted to clarify.

Feel free to ask questions about anything you've been interested in trying! Otherwise here are some random reviews:

- A+D ointment is my HOLY GRAIL lip treatment. I post about it on beauty subs constantly because it has changed my life. A medium thick layer every night while I sleep and I do not use chapstick other than for SPF purposes.

- Skin Aqua... Broke my face out because of the hyaluronic acid most likely, so ended up using it on the backs of my hands. So happy to finally finish this sunscreen, it took me forever!

-CocoKind Electrolyte Cream continues to be my favorite moisturizer ever, especially for oily skin in the summer. No HA or niacinamide which makes my sensitive skin so happy!

My aesthetician is truly incredible- her posted results are super natural, she's against over filling and she likes to go slow. It's why I chose her.

However, she has been largely ignoring my concerns about my under eyes and mid face. She said she wanted to see what my own collagen can do since I'm only 32, so we started 4 session of microneedling with PRF, and she was going to inject the PRF under my eyes at every session.

Well, after two sessions, she stopped doing the PRF completely. I asked about more injections under my eyes at my 4th session, and she said for us to wait because the PRF keeps building for 120 days, and she said she would just microneedle under my eyes. Then she told me she wants me to do ANOTHER round of 4 microneedling to work on my skin.

She did do lip filler and Botox during my 4th session which I am happy with, but I still feel like she is not addressing my true concern about volume loss in my mid face. My skin looks mostly the same after 4 sessions (some scars I think look worse), so I'm skeptical to keep going down her suggested route.

I don't want to jump straight to filler if there are more "natural" options like PRF etc that could help, but I would like some true improvement in this area.

What are your opinions? Should I wait it out and trust her process? Or should I see someone else?

Also, what would you suggest for me to meet my goals?
