I have a cobra 25 installed in an old truck that I just bought. Antenna is a Wilson 1000 mounted on the cab roof. I received some conversation on channel 19 today but when I tried a radio check my status light went red when pressing the mic, meter did not move at all and no reply.
What could I check ?
I have a regular cab truck that I am looking to get tinted. What’s the recommended % on a regular cab? I was thinking 5 % rear 35 sides and 50 windshield. Would love to see some tinted regular cab pictures.
My shower has no pressure on hot. Pulled the mixing valve out and found this yellow piece of rubber. Anyone know what it is and if pulling it out will resolve the obstruction?

Has been a great car so far on both short and long trips.
How much should I pay for a 2001 7.3 powerstroke at 230k miles? It’s a 2WD extended cab long bed and is rust free. It had everything done that I would plan on doing anyways like ebpv delete, up pipes and general maintenance.
As a bonus, the trans is pretty much new so I won’t have to worry about it braking. He says the trans was $4500.
The regular cab is an e99 7.3 4x4 even though the badges are on the door. 135k miles, transmission less than 200 miles old and rates for 600hp. Truck is bone stock. Comes with snugtop camper shell
Extended cab is a 2001 2nd 223k miles rust free and clean. About 10k miles on transmission, bellowed up pipes, Ebpv-less pedestal and Aih delete.
If so, would you recommend it?
