ens-like symptoms and some questions.

Hi. So I had surgery about 5 months ago, turbinate reduction and septoplasty. My recovery was easy and quick. I breathe pretty well after about 2 weeks.

Anyway for about 2-3 months post op, I was on break and it was summer time. I didn't think about my nose or my breathing. But started to experience some ens-like symptoms. It was mostly the lack of air sensation, dryness, and burning. I would say ens6q was like around 8. The symptoms gradually improved after I stopped using aircon. I am convinced aircon is the culprit because every time Im around my symptoms just worsens. I was also in the middle of shifting and had to stay in the hotel that was fully air conditioned even when I turned off all vents and ac. Nevertheless, it made my symptoms worse. It's been 6 days since then, and I haven't seen any major improvements. I been suffering this symptoms for almost 2 months now. Some days were better and other days were worse. Additionally, I been a wreck mentally. Constant anxiety of having/developing ens and regrets. Would regularly breathe hard. Sleep is not as bad as the some people with ens reported. I don't generally have a problem staying asleep. But I would occasionally wake up 5-6 hours later. I usually slept 8-9 hours before.

My ens6q is like around 5. mostly lack of air sensation, a little dryness. I also noticed numbness when I press my nose. I would say my nose has also gotten more sensitive by irritants and smells as they make my symptoms worse. I check up on ents and they said my nose structures look fine. My CP-test is 20-25 seconds at most.

so the question is, is it likely I have ens? Can ens be caused by environmental factors such as air. conditioner in my case?

5 months later, and feels like I took a step back in recovery.

Hi, I had septoplasty and turbinate reduction on March 22nd 2026. Initially, when the stents came out, I breathe better, way better than before and I also slept better. For the first 3-4 months it has been like that way.

However, around late June, I felt my breathing was wrong. I couldn’t feel thr satisfying air flow. It got bad to the point I felt inflammation in my left nose. I figured it was the AC. So I turned it off. My symptoms felt better. But I still couldn’t feel the air flow right. It’s been like this for a month and half. Some days were better and other were bad days. Right now it’s probably one of those bad days. I’m not sure long will it take. My sleeping is worst too and I feel like everything is irritating my nose and setting me back again and again.

Has anyone experienced recovery like this?

You think Levi was inspired by Thorfinn?

As we know Vinland Saga manga came out before AOT’s. And Isayama is a fan of Vinland Saga apparently.

I pick up on it when Kenny said “Everyone is a slave to something”. And I’m like, that’s Askeladd’s line too. Then I realise the parallels between Thorfinn and Levi. Both their father figures were evil people and they hate them. And I think their arc with Levi and Askeladd are kinda similar as well.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with my nose

I’m 4 months post operation and I had turbinate reduction and septoplasty. For the first 3 months, my breathing was perfectly fine. I felt some of those 4k breathing.

But about a month ago, I felt like my airflow wasn’t satisfying enough. I thought I had ens, as I do have a massive fear of ens, but I don’t display any symptoms like dryness, suffocation, and openness. Sometimes my symptoms do improve. Like I can feel the temperature. Other times it get worse. My ens6q is around 6.

I’m not sure what’s causing this. I figure it was the AC and, during the first week, I did felt improvements until I hit a couple setbacks. I’m not sure why my symptoms haven’t been improving since then. And I been sleeping without AC for about like 3 weeks now, sometimes sweating a lot. And I kinda wished my symptoms would just resolve.

Would it be okay to use distilled water that is marketed for battery use?

So I live in a 3rd world country, and the grocery stores or the pharmacy don’t sell distilled water. The only shop that sells that are like from auto shop.

Which sport’s athlete has the best writing?

Here are some examples, but you don’t have to choose them.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Footballed obsessed person that got more cynical as time progressed.

Dirk Nowitzki: Lost to underdog heat in 2006 finals. Got knocked by the 2007 warriors which were heavy underdogs. Afterwards he got depressive. He face against the heat again in 2011 finals. This time as underdog himself. He defeated them, giving them the taste of 2006.

Larry Bird: Always seeking to one up his rival Magic Johnson. But injuries piled up, leaving him the dust.

Messi: Lost many international finals for years. He almost quit in the middle. He won his first copa America in the 2021 and first World Cup a year later.

LeBron James: Promised hero of his hometown. Later abandon them for a super team. Making him a villain in the eyes of many. He redeemed himself in 2016 when he won a championship against the winningest team ever.

I fear that I might be getting ENS

So I did my surgery on March 2026. For the first 3 months I felt that the surgery was the success. I could breathe better tho. But my left gets usually blocked a lot.

Lately, about 3 weeks ago, I felt that my breath weren’t satisfying. I took ens6q and it’s about like 6-8. One thing I notice is that inhale much better in cooler temperatures.

I’m not sure if this part of normal healing? Especially for the last 3 months I felt perfectly fine. One thing I should let you know is that I have a huge medical anxiety. So perhaps my brain is thinking something that isn’t there? I’m not sure, but is it really nothing when I’m hyper focused on my breathing all the time?

I like when Nile spared Erwin in season 1.

When Annie and Eren were fighting in Trost. Nile was threatening to kill Erwin. Erwin was like “fine kill me. But you gotta take command”. Then he starts explaining the chain of command and shit and Nile just spare him after that. I know he spared him because he was persuaded that Erwin believed this was the right way. But lowkey I feel he just spare cuz he didn’t want to deal with this shit lol.

Today I feel super grateful that I am healthy.

I don’t think anyone realise how bless we are to live without complications. I was watching a video where a girl had constant pain. I think it was fibromyalgia or something. Honestly, I don’t know if I would have the will to live if I had that.
