Hello. In a previous thread about HDHomeRun Flex 4K, some Redditors mentioned that they picked up Fox on ATSC 3.0 and it was not encrypted.

I found it interesting because where I am, I pick up Fox but it is DRM encrypted.

So I was wondering if you guys could share what ATSC 3.0 channels do you pick up and which ones are encrypted?

I’ll start. So I pick up 147 channels so far and only 6 are NTSC 3.0. Out of these 6 channels, only 2 are unencrypted:

102.1 Fox (DRM)
104.1 The CW (clear)
105.1 CBS (DRM)
107.1 ABC (clear)
111.1 NBC (DRM)
114.1 Univision (DRM)

Perhaps collectively, we are picking up all the channels DRM free?

Hello. Three months ago, I asked this subreddit about my Davis Vantage Pro 2 running through the battery so fast and loosing communication.

At first, and looking at my solar cell, I thought it was the culprit. But several of you had suggested a bad capacitor, the super cap.

I have now replaced it (and indeed, the original capacitor had leaked), it’s been several weeks now, and so far, so good.

Hello. I have had this HDHomeRun Flex 4k for 2 months now but for the last 2 weeks, when I open the HDHomeRun app on my Xbox, PC or iPhone, it hangs and I get this message. If I quit and restart the app 3 times, then it will work… until I reopen the app later.

Please note that when I reboot the hardware, it seems to temporarily fix the issue, but eventually, it comes back again. Do you have any idea on what could it be? Thank you.

There are several quarries in the game and they are all crazy. And there’s always some cargo to pick up or drop off.

So I was thinking why not bring a crane down there, the LK-2NY and then drive the trucks full throttle down the cliff, kinda like the Glacier View Car Launch in real life.

Then, straight up the truck with the crane and off you go. Well, then sure, you’ll still have to drive back up.

I might give it a try. 🤔

When all the cargos are identical. For example, I’d like to unload the cargo in the trailer, rather than the cargo from the truck.

Hello. Every time I open the app HD HomeRun on my iPhone, Xbox or PC, I need to select my device first by clicking on continue before proceeding to either watching live or go to the guide.

This is annoying because I only have one device anyway. Is that a bug? How can I have HD HomeRun go straight to watch live TV right after I opened it? Thank you.

Hi. I remember a few years ago, I’d go to Garin and the picnic areas would be packed with mostly Latinos people who would do BBQ / Carne asada, break Piñatas, have music or play ball games. Have a good time and laugh!

It struck me recently that all this is mostly gone. It’s empty and kinda sad. I took the picture on a Saturday. So now, without trying to be to politically, why is that?

* People no more live here (yet I see them in the streets, stores etc)
* People are scared
* Tradition is going down the drain and people don’t care
* ?

Am I the only one who noticed? Why is that? Regardless, this is very sad.

On the positive note, the Kite people are still there and going strong!!

Also, the instructions are ultra minimalist (but in 3 languages!)

Compared to the previous design, which the position 1, 2 or 3 you could set even without looking at it, the “infinite” wheel of the new design make it impossible to set blindly or in the dark. 🤷‍♂️ oh and it makes it bulkier too! Way to go 👍 Thoughts?

Hello I have a Davis Vantage Pro II weather station that I’ve been using [mostly] flawlessly for more than a decade.

For the last two years, I needed to replace the battery as the communication would get lost.

Looking at the shape of my solar panel, it looks like it is the culprit. So here are my questions:

* Is 2.35 Volts on the sun the normal output for this solar panel?

* Do I need to replace the solar panel? If yes where could I get a new one? (That doesn’t cost an arm and a leg)

* Am I using the proper battery?

Found on Zillow. I’m trying to figure out what would justify such a purchase:

* Hoping that it gets landfilled in the future so that you have useable land?

* Use it as is, as a [park free] mooring point for a sailboat?

* Moore a houseboat like in Sausalito?

* Sell it back as is in a few years for a 100% or more profit?

Am I missing something? Anyone interested?

Hello. A few days ago the trip lever broke (it was probably out of use for years). Picture 2.

I opened the overflow plate and try to remove the tub drain linkage but it’s impossible to pull even with pliers (Picture 1).

What would be my next step? Thank you!
