Since the studio handling the English dub was not exactly packed with employee's, they had to recycle some VA's for throw away lines, students talking to each other, people talking about Kira on the TV in the town square, ad placements in universe for lipstick, etc

The "Cosme - Misa" product line of lipstick AD cutaway during the youtsuba arch where L tries to mirror the way Misa pulls on a banana peel in the Ad, of all the people to pick for that line it is Colleen Wheeler** who is voicing Rem, "Rem" is selling Misa's lipstick

The "Kiss" scene with the REAL Hideki Ryuga (an ACTOR that Light looks shockingly similar to) where Misa refuses to kiss, Hideki Ryuga is voiced (only has like one singular line) by Brad Swaile (Light), who is acting out a love scene with Misa, when Misa refuses the director has a fit and says "Oh COME ON!", the director of that scene is being voiced by Alessandro Juliani who is L, who has been trying to get Light to exploit Misa's devotion to him during the "whoops I intentionally forgot I'm kira" arch

Mogi, Matsuda, Aizawa, Ide, and others get recycled here and there but certain ones almost feel like intentional meta humor which is awesome to me

Its also (/s) technically possible Ed, Edd, n Eddy are canonically related to the Death Note universe because of Stephen Gevanni, who else but Double D could recreate Mikami's notebook 1:1 by hand, OVER NIGHT?

In hindsight my wording for the title could have been far better, I love a LOT about the english studio 😅

To bring the video up to one second being one second its about 2.4-2.5x~ speed, not able to do all the math but its possible to do north of 15~ inputs per second

I can not believe how unbelievably fast you can get going in this game

my music file is just ONE singular 35 minute~ mp3 that is forced to 1.3x, then once its in Dead as Disco I load it with 310 BPM, pick up the "double world BPM"

This game is COOKING IMHO, the animation key frames are phenomenal if you can actually see them, if you're going mach 7 your character really can just "turn into a smear" 🤣

Seriously, 12/10 game, I havent even fought a boss yet I'm having waaay too much fun in the free play

I am NOT trying to act like I mastered this ENTIRE game in seven nano seconds, but I have already adapted to it shockingly quick to the point that even 320 BPM is starting to feel too slow

Again, none of this is to brag, I'm just impressed by how addictive this is after playing it for exactly TWO hours to then go splice together my music and speed the whole thing up by 1.3x then set ingame tempo to 320 BPM so I have zero down time to think and can just gold fish to the music, I'm fighting the most basic enemy too because the highlight isn't me being "slick" but to show how much fun it is to be evading 100 stans at 320 BPM

I've never played a game like this before and only have one full hour of playtime but I can already tell this is going to likely end up being a 2,000-4,000 hour game for me its so absolutely perfect for AuDHD

Obviously zero obligation to do that on your part but I love learning what drives people to down vote certain things, but if you think I'm humble bragging or something that is not what I am doing here, I am literally telling people this is a REALLY good stim tool for ASD, ADHD, AuDHD people

I only have 30~ minutes of play time so I'm by no means good yet, as I don't play games remotely like this, but, holy bejeebus, 200 BPM is insanely fun

Also, can, uh, someone give me any pointers? For example why wouldn't it let me dodge at 1:20?

I can already tell this is going to consume a bunch of my time, especially since you can use your own music (spliced my music together and set all of them for 1.3x speed)

I was extremely bored and decided to copy paste some of the Viper assets straight from grid 2 into grid 1's vip folder, it overwrote about 9 files, crashed on launch, reverted the cameras.xml and it launched and now I have a slightly higher LOD viper

If this was already a known thing then my apologies, I've never seen info on this nor do I understanding coding
