What are the day rates for crew on a small budget (£25,000) short film (UK)?

Going to apply for BFI NETWORK England short film funding next year and doing research into the steps required to make a film. I will be director/writer for the project, and will be required to cost everything before submitting an application for funding. Would love some help if anyone has answers. Any useful sites with this kind of information would be AMAZING - kinda need a film-making Bible at this point. Thanks in advance!

[TOMT] Set in an insane asylum with padded walls. A woman shaves her head? Likely 90’s

[Song] I remember my Dad putting this song on sometimes as a kid and it both scared and really fascinated me. This woman dances crazily in a padded room - may have had a straitjacket on for some scenes. She shaves her head during the video.

I’m pretty sure there also a man in the video as well (just an actor, he doesn’t sing). Thought it could’ve been Björk but I haven’t found a match yet.

How do you manage sickness while exercising?

So I have been recently diagnosed with ADHD, and am currently titrating. I have built a routine where I wake up at 6am every day, take my medication then and either go to work or do some form of exercise almost straight after.

A couple days ago I was so close to being sick on a run that I had to swallow it back down (was running up a hill past dog walkers so could’ve been very embarrassing). This morning I cycled in to work and nearly threw up TWICE while tackling only moderate hills that wouldn’t have normally caused an issue.

Is this a problem for anyone else? Going to reread the leaflet later when I get a chance but any help would be appreciated :D

How to check nutrient deficiencies with the NHS?

I was diagnosed a few months ago with ADHD and am currently titrating/fixing my routine to manage symptoms. I am vegan and have been for about 6 years, and wanted to check if I was deficient in any nutrients that might be impairing my daily function. How would I go about getting a full panel to test for bodily deficiencies free of charge? Thank you all :)

What are some good clubs to meet people in the area?

I’ve just moved back home after finishing uni and was hoping to join some clubs to meet more people, as many of my friends in the area have moved away. I’m interested in running, cycling, swimming, climbing (anything outdoorsy tbh) and reading, writing and films. If anyone know of any clubs I can join that would be great! Maybe just a running club to start would be nice :D

Feels like my progress is slowing down. Any tips on building momentum?

Characters added as well.

I want to access my subconscious for writing poetry, any advice?

Okay so this is a random one but I’m currently writing a collection of poetry inspired by various art movements e.g. Dadaism, Surrealism and Cubism to name a few. I attempted surrealism by writing non stop without time to think and really enjoyed the outcome.

However, I wanted to take it a step further and really try to access my subconscious to a greater extent. My plan was to set an alarm tonight to wake myself up in REM sleep and then immediately start writing, to hopefully write from the subconscious more effectively.

This probably sounds very silly but please humour me. If anyone has tried anything similar and could offer tips any writing advice would be appreciated! :D

Is Batman Ninja worth it?

I don’t have a Batman character to complete the final battle. Have enough to buy insurgency, but wondering whether Batman Ninja is worth it?

My other options are but a challenge pack and gamble, or save for Arkham Batman.

I mean a world where the strengths are celebrated. Perhaps those with ADHD wouldn’t be forced into certain environments e.g. regimented school/work environments? I just been thinking about it. How undeniably creative and passionate a lot of ADHDer’s are, wouldn’t it make sense to foster those skills within us and not try to force us into places that we don’t fit?

I used to play years ago but didn’t take it seriously or employ real strategy.

Started from a new account 2 months ago. Still have a lot to learn but what are some good teams I can make from these? Or just general strategies. Any help would be super appreciated! :D
