I accidentally dropped my M21 for the first time last night. Ugh! The drop was about 3 feet onto a wooden floor. Thankfully, there were no headphones connected to it. The M21 was in its OEM protective case. My friend told me not to worry too much as there are likely no moving parts inside the device. Is it safe to say the M21 is drop resistant in its case, as long as it is not dropped from a high distance onto a hard surface or dropped into water? I LOVE my M21 and want to last for years to come. I have a set of flash drives which I load up with video content to watch on my Samsung S90D 2024 4K TV.
One of the drives I last used on Saturday night is no longer recognized by my TV.

However, I can read and write to the drive via my PC.

What's up?

I was knocked out all of 2025 and part of 2024 and 2026 due to a serious illness.
I'm finally back to my old self and eager to get back to work.

I have the COMPTIA Trifecta, CCNA, and 3 IT related associate degrees.

I have been reading Mike Halsey's IT Support Handbook (2024) and it has been helpful.

Are there any courses on Udemy, YouTube, or elsewhere that will help me get my head back in the game? I need a refresher so that I will be able to sell myself during interviews.

I am exploring the option of providing occasional IT support services to folks in my neighborhood. I can perform virtually any home user level IT task. My qualifications include three Networking and Security related IT AA degrees as well as the COMPTIA Trifecta, Linux Essentials, and CCNA certifications.

There are some restrictions on my availability, though. For the past several years I have been the full-time caretaker for my elderly father. He panics if I leave him for more than a few hours and that has tied me to the house/neighborhood. I miss working. I would like to generate some income from my education and keep my skills sharp as well as get out of the house periodically.

I was wondering if anyone out there in home user support has some advice on how to get started, especially with things like pricing and if there are any licensing requirements. I'm not looking to exploit my customers, just provide exceptional service for a competitive price.

Quick question. Will installing 1027 beta overwrite the paid version of Poweramp, I've installed on my M21? I would like to have the beta install in a separate directory so I could have access to the play store version of Poweramp too. Thanks!

Last night, I bought the full version of Poweramp for my M21.

I have been enjoying the interface.

It is more visually appealing than the Fiio media player.

I use primarily use Sennheiser HD 599 SE headphones for playback.

While experimenting with Poweramp last night, I noticed that I had to turn the volume up to 60, just to get it close to level 30 volume on the Fiio media player app. This was alarming.

Could someone please explain why this is?

I do not want to damage my hearing by using faulty settings in Poweramp.

If someone could please recommend a good Poweramp tutorial for newbies, I would appreciate it.

I have a SANDISK 256GB Ultra Luxe USB 3.1 Gen 1 Flash Drive. I primarily use it to watch 1080p/4K video via an extension cable connected to the USB Port on my Samsung 2024 S90D 4K TV. I have noticed that video freezes from time to time. If I formatted the drive would that resolve the issue? I should mention that there is an archive of thousands of family photos on the drive. Would this cause issues with the file system?

I have several of these drives and the rest of them play video without any issues.

I received my M21 on Thursday morning. I'm loving it.
I wanted to buy a FiiO HS7 Hard Carrying Case for it.

However, this case is no longer being manufactured.

Could someone please recommend a similar replacement?

I am a PlayStation guy.

I have never played a Forza game, although I have wanted to for a long time.
I've noticed that Forza Horizon 5 Premium is available on the PS Store for $50.

I know that Forza 6 is the latest game in the series.

However, I realize the PlayStation port is at least 1-2 years away.

Is Forza Horizon 5 Premium worth $50?

Does the Premium version of the game include EVERYTHING or is there still more DLC to buy? I'm not up for grinding for hours to unlock items and I won't spend money on VC.

I realize this is an older game to XBOX/PC players.
To someone like me, Forza 5 Premium on my PS5 Pro would be a brand new experience. The game looks like a lot of FUN!

I should admit that I didn't enjoy Gran Turismo 7. It was too much of a simulation and not very fun. Although, I LOVE arcade racers.

I've rediscovered my X5-2. I use the official USB cable to recharge using an old Samsung white USB power adapter and it takes a long time to recharge. Would using a generic rapid charger damage the battery of the X5-2? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've rediscovered my 2015 X5 - 2nd Gen on Friday and have been really enjoying it.

The sound quality along with the use of wired headphones/earphones I've experimented with this weekend blow away my modern Bluetooth setup.

I have been using my Galaxy smartphone/Lenovo P3 tablet and Shokz Pro 2 BT headphones as my DAP setup for several years.

I'm considering getting an M21 for the BT functionality and further improved sound quality.
Would the improvement in sound quality be dramatically noticeable over the X5 2nd gen?

Another question I have is: would using a "rapid charger" AC adapter to charge the X5-2 damage the battery?

I bought Crossworlds for $30 during the Black Friday sales. I've been waiting for the season pass to go on sale. The digital deluxe version of Crossworlds is $45. I'm tempted to double dip. I assume the pass won't be discounted until a few months after all the DLC is released. What would you do? Thanks!

I've just received the Back To The Future - Ultimate Visual History book from a third party seller on Amazon - pathnme. I'm in the USA.

The ISBN is 9798337403601. I ordered the 40th Anniversary edition of the book for $36, which seemed too good to be true.

The MRSP is $50 and the publication date listed is 2020. 
It must be the 35th Anniversary edition.

The book was manufactured in China, which seems like a red flag. 

Could the book I received be considered counterfeit?

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! is my favorite NES game and Super Punch-Out!! is my favorite SNES game. I never had a Wii and have only played 2009 Punch-Out!! a few times via emulation.

My Switch 2 has been collecting dust for months.

I'm a PlayStation guy who was caught up in the Switch 2 hype one year ago.

Mike Tyson's Punch-Out 2 exclusively on the Switch 2 has a nice ring to it.
Tyson has rehabilitated his image since his downfall in the 1990's.
Iron Mike is synonymous with boxing. I could see Nintendo working with Tyson again.

I dream that Mike Tyson Punch-Out 2 is released for the Switch 2 sometime this decade. If a new Punch-Out!! is released for the Switch 2, my Switch 2 would go from a paperweight to my most played console...
