"Stillness, or peace, is realization." ~ Ramana Maharshi

Is this true? Will simply being in peace get me closer to realization?

I have come to a point where it is easy for me to be in peace, where it's easy to be without an "I" and where it's easy to ignore the mind.

Yet I still haven't had realization. Is there anything to do or to stop doing?

I'm offering free unlightenment advice

I have 6 years of experience in Advaita Vedanta/nonduality, and during that time I have had more than a dozen spiritual experiences.

I believe this qualifies me to give advice on unlightenment and how not to achieve. Hit me up if you would like to know more.

Is karma real?

I know good people who are poor and go through tremendous bad luck while there are billionaires out there who screw countless people over and still live the high life, and good fortune just seems to rain down on them.

This makes me doubt if karma is even real. Why do people with the greatest material fortune act so dishonorably and receive no karmic repercussions while poor people are afflicted with all kinds of psychological and material problems?

Can't seem to tolerate conversations any more

Anything that activates my identified thinking seems intolerable to me. I don't want to talk to friends, I don't wanna talk to my family, I don't wanna talk to coworkers.

All I wanna do is rest as pure being, but there's so many distractions. Does this get better in your experience? Or am I just doomed to walk around being character identified?

apparently young, beautiful people trigger me

I thought I had my social anxiety beaten. But lo and behold, here we go again, about 8 years later.

Now pairs of young men and women (not necessarily couples) and young, beautiful people who I'm sexually interested in (both male and female)seem to trigger me.

My head starts shaking when I'm around them and I can't look them directly on the face.

I don't yet know if this fear is about these specific people I met today or young, beautiful people in general.

Today a young woman who triggers me that way asked me if I was okay and I felt so embarassed. It's not like I'm gonna blurt out: "I'm scared of you for being so pretty."

I forgot how much shame social anxiety is accompanied by.

At this point I gotta commend you guys for living with social anxiety. You are fucking troopers and survivors.

Attracted to a former same sex roommate and now triggered by and scared of him

I'm a 33 year old dude who presents as straight even though I'm heterflexible. I have bi tendencies.

I live in an assisted living facility for people with mental illness.

In October last year I had psychosis. During which I noticed that my head would start shaking/twitching around my then roommate. I quickly figured out that my head was shaking/twitching because I was attracted to him (20m).

The nest day I was so terribly afraid of him that I could not leave my room. I figured if I admitted to him that I was attracted to him the fear would stop.

So I texted him and talked to him, admitting that I was attracted to him, to which he said "Okay".

The problem is that I still get triggered when I see him, my head still shakes etc. 9 months later.

What the hell is wrong with me?

Unicursal Enneagram

Unicursal enneagram kinda reminds me of the Tool heptagram. I first drew this symbol when doing a drawing on Lateralus 6 years ago.

First tattoo, what to add?

So this is my first tattoo. I was thinking that it looks a little bare and lonesome and perhaps there might be something that can be added. My first idea was a pattern of waves that wraps all the way around the arm but is also broken into pieces.

My other idea was the same pattern of waves but going around the tattoo like a circle.

Which one do you prefer?

Or do you perhaps have a completely different idea? Or would you perhaps leave it as it is?

Can you draw as many sigils as you like in one day?

I'm relatively new to magick so forgive me for asking beginner questions. I was wondering whether there is a limit on sigils you should draw in one day or whether it's up to me?

I don't mean charging and activating them yet, just drawing them.

Thank you.

In the end of 2017 I took some good amount of LSD (unfortunately) while I was already addicted to weed. It resulted in a psychosis that lasted months and during that I became susceptible to the truth, that the world is ruled by evil sorcerers who also abuse children and sacrifice people and eat human flesh. Suddenly the prospect of magic became real and my reality was full of synchronicities, but it came at a heavy price. I was barely functional.

Years later I dismissed those ideas of evil wizards ruling the world and magic being real (because they were driving me insane), until 2 days ago, when I was watching a video about the Epstein files.

Now I'm not psychotic, but I know it's all true, but the question also remains: so what?

I get it, the world is not as it seems, and I have tried for 6 years to attain enlightenment until I finally have given up.

What can I do with this kind of knowledge? Can I influence reality in some magical way? Can I take my life in unforseen directions?

What do I do with this knowledge?
