I am wanting to present something concrete to friends and family that goes beyond “masks are effective”.
I want to be able to tell them “if you don’t wear a mask you may get infected within a couple minutes in a room with an infected person. If you do wear a well-fitting respirator mask such as FFP2 / FFP3, it takes x long or reduces to x risk”. (The first statement I do have studies to back up)
Are there any studies like this? 🙏
I had an exposure that I found out about now, three hours after the exposure. I am CC in general but I believe the situation we were in could make me sick, but not neccesarily. This was in my apartment where I am still now. I have long covid and ME/CFS.
I have already done this:
-wiped down all surfaces me and her touched with alcohol disinfectant
-gurgled with cpc mouthwash
-used nasal spray with iotacarrageenan
-the air is clean by now with air purifier, ventilation and time
I plan on this for the upcoming 7 days:
-using electrolytes
-prioritizing sleep
-getting more rest than usual
-not doing any big activity
-appropriate measures to not infect others
What more can I do now to avoid getting sick? We do not know what specific virus the caregiver has but based on symptoms I’d guess flu or covid. Is it possible to take both covid and flu post-exposure meds? Idk if that’s even available in Sweden though.

I am wondering about paragraphs that have actions in them, with a dialogue in the middle. It is the same person doing the actions and the dialogue. Should the dialogue be on a new paragraph?
Example:
Martina marched to the stage. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. “Welcome, everyone,” she said. She did not like this one bit and ran off the stage.
Will my windows break or have weird residue on them if I put the aliminium foil on the OUTSIDE of the glass, directly on it?
Is cardboard between needed? Or air between the window and foil?

I tried Ellipsus and liked it until it had downtime and I saw how often it has had downtime. Too unstable. So I moved into LibreOffice but find the layout a bit too cluttered.
