My toddler has been quietly absorbing every adult conversation in this house and i just realised like he knows my manager is being a jerk and that the office is being reconstructed.... He knows my friend got an EV scooter and asked me for its remote control.... He knows that papa is on a new project with nosy teammates

We thought he was just playing bt he notices everything

Anyone else realise their toddler might be a tiny spy ?? 🥰

Soo we went out for lunch with both sets of parents and my mum asked my son how he's been and he just got activated

He started talking about playing, running, studying nd getting more and more charged up with every question because of all the attention

Then he said mom and dad have been very busy with work lately and don't play with me as much

And then he said they were playing hide and seek WITHOUT me and kissing

Both sets of grandparents were at the same table nd everyone was laughing, me wanting to disappear completely😭

anyone else been publicly exposed by their toddler at the worst possible moment??

We have a white bunny at home 😭somewhere along the way he learned about the Easter bunny and something clicked in his little brain

Now he asks me for eggs every single day, hides them around the house, and waits for his bunny to find them🤣

The bunny has no idea what's happening😭my son is absolutely convinced this is how it works

It's soo hilarious and I don't have the heart to explain that they are not the same bunny

A month ago this man met with an actual accident 😭 injuries, sprains, the whole thing and that same night he took me to the movie, very frankly, no complaints and acted like nothing happened

Today he woke up with a slight fever and he has been in bed since morning, curled up like a baby, and has asked me to sit near him approximately 47 times😭

The same man, i promise. i have checked his ID😭
And my son is being the mature one today, packing his school bag and getting ready on his own while I'm on the nurse duty for his papa 😭

i'm not talking about sleep deprivation. i've slept. i know what that tired feels like 😭

i'm talking about the tired that lives in your bones, the one that's there when you wake up, there when you go to bed, there even on the good days.

everyone said enjoy every moment... nobody said you'd carry this weight in your body every single day and still show up

anyone else living in this specific kind of tired?? or is it just me 😭

it started with family members. then the cats. then the cars outside the window 😭

now he wakes up and does a full round of good mornings to everything in the house. the sofa. the fan. his toys. the wall.

everything gets acknowledged. nothing is left out😭

he has more social etiquette than most adults i know and he still needs help putting his shoes on the right feet.

light pink is literally HIS colour, he glows in it 😭he looks like an absolute angel. soft pink, gorgeous complexion, happy baby. that's it.

but the moment my MIL sees him the comments start "ladka hai, ladkiyon wale rang mat pehnaao" and i have to smile and nod and die a little inside😭

baby is too little to know what today means and i didn't expect that to hit as hard as it did 😭but my mum and my husband made sure i felt completely celebrated today and honestly?? i didn't expect to feel this emotional about it.
i used to send my mum things for Mother's Day bt this year she sent me a card, chocolates and cake nd then my husband showed up with a bouquet of lilies, my absolute favourite, and took me out for dinner😭💗

becoming a mum changed everything but today i really felt it. happy Mother's Day to every mama out there, especially the ones who spent years celebrating others before anyone celebrated them 🥰

last year my baby was too small to understand anything so it didn't really count 😭 this year feels like my actual first Mother's Day.

i grew up always gifting my mum something special on this day. always made effort. always made her feel seen.

and now i'm a mum and i just want that same energy back?? is that too much to ask??

i know my son is only 2 but i also want to feel celebrated today and i feel guilty for even admitting that😭

Her teacher recently started talking about Mother’s Day in class, and ever since then something has definitely changed at home.

My little one has become so secretive about her little drawing corner. Every time I walk past, she quickly hides her paper or covers it like it’s a top secret project 😭

For the past few days she’s been quietly working on something, carrying it around, making sure I don’t catch even a tiny glimpse. I keep finding little bits of glitter, folded papers tucked away, and she just looks so focused like she’s on the most important mission ever 🥹

And me… I’m already emotional thinking about it even before seeing it. I don’t think I’m ready, but I also can’t wait to see what she’s made for me ❤️

i have this thing where i narrow my eyes when something is sus or i'm offended or not buying it... my son watched me do it apparently and filed it away for future use.

becuz yesterday i told him it was time to stop playing and he turned around, looked me dead in the eyes and narrowed his eyes at me😭

my son waves goodbye to every single car that passes our window 😭

we don't know these cars. these cars don't know us. he does not care. to him every passing vehicle is a dear friend leaving too soon...

the Honda Amaze today was particularly ruthless. full speed, zero eye contact, completely ignored my son's most enthusiastic wave. he stood at the window for a full minute after it left.

i have never related to a 2 year old more in my life 😭

my son is 2 and my stretch marks are still showing up like they pay rent 😭

i've tried the usual oils and creams but nothing has made a real difference. i'm not trying to erase them completely but i'd love them to fade a little.

has anyone actually found a product that genuinely helped?? not looking for miracle promises, just honest reviews from mamas who've been in this situation 🥰
