On Neptune 4 Plus. I know the basis of it editing the G-Code, but have never been successful in editing the code to be able to restart a failed print that lost the option to restart. Had the nozzle stop heating as expected, and the system shut down, so lost the option to restart upon it rebooting. The print head is still exactly where it needs to be to start printing again. Got with AI to help walk me through it better to figure out how to modify the G Code appropriately. I'm still doing it different than what it suggested by just deleting lines of code above a certain point, and making sure the G90 and G28 codes are removed. With a preview of the changes in the G-code in the second pic. Anyone who has done this before, can you help me verify the code does look good to restart? The G-code preview in orca slicer looks a little wonky, but otherwise ok.

I was told I could probably run this from the comments in my last post, so I decided to try it out yesterday morning. Did 2 cycles of TestMem5 Extreme1anta777 in the morning, but I didn't feel like staring at a stress test screen, so decided a more fun stress test would be Star Citizen and some Forza Horizon 6. Played all day fine no issues, then left the PC on all night, and decided to start the stress test this morning before I went to work for a few hours. Aida is with latency killer off (obviously) with the PC running for 22 hours with quite a few back ground tasks going, so not a de bloated fresh launched test by any means. I tried 6400Mhz CL28 again, and it is just challenging getting stable with GDM off. This just works, so think these are the settings I will settle at now.

All tested with 2200Mhz FCLK. All had extremely similar performance, but 6000Mhz CL28 has still given me the best performance overall, while being much easier to stabilize, while not using near as much voltage. Which results in temps staying about 8C-10C cooler under TestMem5 stress test compared to the 6200Mhz and 6400Mhz settings. Was also having a heck of a time stabilizing 6400Mhz GDM off. 6000Mhz CL28 was just easy and no fuss, but we wouldn't be overclockers if we didn't ignore the worlds recommendations to at least try things out for ourselves. lol 6000Mhz also allows for higher negative offset. This is -30 all core for the CB23 score. If I turn cooling down, I certainly have to adjust the curve offset, but not much. Have it limited to 5700Mhz. Mainly tuning for all core performance and RAM for playing Star Citizen, which was the only reason I decided to upgrade from a 5800X3D with 3733Mhz CL14. At least it didn't buy a $1000 jpeg... 😅

This went on for about 30 minutes. Anyone else’s void love belly rubs as much as this guy?

Also think I need a fresh OS install, as my CPU (5800X3D & 5950X) scores for their same settings have been lower than they should after I upgraded to Windows 11. My 5800X3D was up around 13.7K CPU score in TimeSpy, then after upgrading Windows I could barely hit 12K with same settings, and the same case with my 5950X. So maybe with a fresh install I could potentially be up in the 18K CPU range, as my 9850X3D is boosting the same frequencies and temps as those hitting 18K. I guess we'll see. lol

Unintentionally upgraded to AM5. With RAM prices the way they are I had no intention on upgrading from my 5950X running 3733Mhz CL14 fully tuned timings any time soon, then I came across a deal on these 2x24GB GSkill Ripjaws S5 6400Mhz CL32 dimms for $400, so snagged them up as I felt that was a decent deal given the sticks new are about $900 at the moment. Next day I came across a deal on an X870E Carbon Wifi for $280, so decided to get that. I intended on waiting for prices on the 9950X3D2 to come down a little, then a buddy sent me a deal on an open box 9850X3D for $400, so decided to get it. My buddy said he would purchase the 9850X3D from me when I upgrade to the X3D2, but in the mean time I think this will certainly do.

Got all my parts in a day ago, and what an adventure that was with the CPU getting lost for a few days in shipping, then the first motherboard I got being bad, but all that matters is everything works as expected in the end, or even a little be better than expected. Spent my 4th of July tuning RAM. Got my timings I began with from this post here, then tuned things further. I had tested good on RAM the first day at CL30 with these timings, then spent half the day yesterday chasing my tail due to instability and errors that were happening in tests 8 & 9. Figured out I had pushed my PBO - offset too far. Brought it back down to -22 (CB R23 a -33 offset) with a +75Mhz boost, and that stopped my errors in 8 and 9, then started getting an error that pointed to voltages or overheating, but my DIMM temps never got over 37C, so figured I was pushing too high VDD at 1.5, so brought it down to 1.45, and now we are here.

So, how do things look? To note, full system cooling with a 12K BTU AC with a custom 3D printed duct, which some of you might have seen before, to explain my temps. (Been running it for 3 years now, so I know what I'm doing to keep moisture at bay, as well I live in the desert)

New to AM5 and DDR5 tuning, but studied up quite a bit on those of you who have paved the way before me, so I was not flying blind. To that, I thank all of you for making this tuning journey soooo much easier than my DDR4 tuning.

My package was suppose to be delivered yesterday, but then it got lost in its trek across the state for a day. It got close to my city at one point, then decided to 300 miles in another direction. Hopefully I'll get my package tomorrow. Seriously, explain the logistics on this?

I was looking to purchase these silver glasses, and went to sign in to purchase, then noticed the price increased quite a bit from the original sale price. Even the original listed price went up. What kind of deception is this? I was still able to purchase at the original sale price if i didn't sign into Etsy. What is going on? Why does this happen?

In the middle of a zoom call teaching a class, and Windows decides to throw this pop up in my face… I think it may be time to shoot out the Windows, and replace it with something else. Especially after watching Linux challenge Pt 4 yesterday.

Was reading through comments while sitting in the yard at work of my lotus flow video, and there was a comment about how I could probably go into Mayruasana, which I then had to proceed to look up. 😅 (I may be able to do a lot, but y’all are helping me learn the names. 😋) Took a video before this one without gloves, but my hands did not last too long when the pressed against that hot black rubber mat. I was making all kinds of noises! Maybe I’ll post the blooper too. 😂

Here I'm on a Fanatec ClubSport Wheelbase with BMW wheel that's been going strong for a decade now, along with some Amazon e-brake (cause the Fanatec e-brake didn't last) and Fanatec 1.5 sq gearbox selector (that went out on me on the second lap of this race, and had to switch to paddles lol)
