We just had the kitchen redone and while looking around at Home Depot, we say this neat drawer organizer. It had nice drawer rails and went farther back, but the drawer didn't have a back side while ours already did. I made the whole thing out of 1/4" poplar.

The process of cutting the dividers was pretty straight forward once you get all the measurements done, but cutting the slots to be the correct spacing required a jig so I just knocked out something I could use to use with a 1/4 router bit. It did a nice quick job of repeated accurate cuts.

The lower set didn't require a bottom as the drawer bottom was enough and the bottom dividers were left unglued so they can be removed to create a wider space below if necessary.

I wanted something food safe so I just used the same stuff butcher block oil as I've used on cutting boards and it came out nicely. I had planned on using a couple small strips off that UHMW tape on the bottom of the upper tray to make it slide more smoothly, but it won't stick because of the oil finish at the moment. Still slides pretty nicely though.

I would imagine it'd be tough of the pets feet on the asphalt as well.

I had an old moto cell phone that was too outdated to repurpose so rather than just toss it I thought I'd put a hole in it. I have a Beeman P17 which I thought had a pretty good punch, but the picture of the phone above is the after" once I wiped off the spot where the pellet hit. The pellet to the right is what the one on the left started out like. I took another try at the back (not pictured) since it's glass too, but it pretty much blew up as I'd hoped the front would. Interesting experiment though.

This happened a couple days ago and I'm pretty nervous about it. It's a 2 drive NAS and I built it with 2 WD Red Plus about 18 months ago. It's under warranty and when I send this one they'll send the replacement. Meanwhile, I bought a couple Red Pros to replace both but they're not scheduled to hit my doorstep until Wednesday. I'm essentially flying without a net, but I only have to make it 3 days before I can start rebuilding the storage pool. The drive still passes the quick S.M.A.R.T scan, but it does show a couple bad sectors. My question is how nervous should I be?
