Wtf!

Ive always heard that bed bugs can't draw blood unless you crush them. Well first spot was found on my flat sheet while the other spots (pic 2 and 3) were found on my fitted sheet where the sheet meets the headboard or the end of the bed. It's not possible for me to have crushed them in those areas.

Aprehend was sprayed on May 12th and all of this spotting happened in less than a week. Keep in mind we never saw any bed bugs but a dog detected them on my bed frame.

Wtf!!

The first spot was found on top of my flat sheet and the two others on the part of the fitted sheet that touches the bed. I've read that bed bugs only draw blood if they're crushed. I couldn't have possibly crushed them in those spots.

Seeking help

** I did check the reference**

Around March 23rd, I found a dark stain on my sheets (2nd pic). Around that time, I started having weird skin reactions. The reactions were various (clear bumps, pinpricks, etc) and sometimes disappeared in a day. They were always on my hands, face and neck (back and front). My hands are always inside the covers when I sleep and I sleep on my back. Once in April I found blood on my pajama pants. I barely move when I sleep. After that I really started suspecting bed bugs.

I wanted to get a dog but he was only available on May 11th. Since I wanted to act quickly, I had a preventive treatment done on April 29th with Aprehend. Exterminator said he didn't think we have bed bugs. On May 11th, the dog came and scanned the whole condo. He alerted on my bedframe, nowhere else in the room or in the condo. They didn't show us a bug or anything else (egg, casing) and said the infestation is probably very minimal.

It's a very simple bedframe (first pic). I looked with a flashlight at all the metal parts, all the screws and the wooden slats. There was nothing. So if there's something, it means that they are burying INSIDE the headboard and INSIDE the end of the bed (where I have no access)?!?

I did order the passive monitors and I am waiting to get them. I had a full treatment (Aprehend) done yesterday. I now have 3 new bites, which is an increase in activity.

I'm at a loss. Am I supposed to see something, dead or alive?

Welcome to my nightmare

On March 23rd, I found the dark spot on my sheets. I was alarmed but it's not the first time I find blood on my sheets so I tried to relax. I have severe OCD and had a bed bug scare in 2023 that put me in the psych ward for 2 months so I tried not to think too much about it. That and the fact that everyone was gaslighting me to the extreme. I currently live with my mom and that made everything so much harder. I started getting b!tes, sometimes in 3s, mainly on my face, neck and hands. Got blood on my pajama pants (third photo) on April 27th. Didn't want to disturb my mom too much since she also has a very shaky mental health, so I didn't say much. It continued. Finally, with the help of my occupational therapist and psychiatrist, I was able to get an exterminator on April 29th. We also scheduled a dog (K9) but he couldn't come until May 11th! The exterminator didn't inspect much, put some Aprehend and said he didn't think we have bed bugs. Fast forward to today and the dog alerted on my bedframe! Nowhere else in the condo. The dog handler said it was probably very minimal. We weren't able to see one. It's a very simple Ikea bed. I'm suspecting the headboard and the end of the bed. I got another company and they are coming tomorrow to steam everything then spray Aprehend. After my mom's suicidal attempt, her hospitalization plus my 3 hospitalizations in the recent year, this is REALLY what I needed.

Scleroderma?

I posted in the plastic surgery sub about having perioral wrinkles (specifically having two deeper lines) and someone said it might be scleroderma. Now I'm afraid :(

I am 35F. I also started to get superficial wrinkles near the corner of the mouth and below the mouth but only on one side of my face. I've been doing Botox for the perioral wrinkles but frankly it's not very helpful. I can also see a very faint oblic line on my forehead but only if I go from left to right in front of a mirror. FYI I had fillers in my cheeks and marionette lines done last summer but I don't see a lot of results from that either.

Apart from that I don't think I have any other symptoms? My sister has Raynaud and my maternal family is known for its bad circulation but fortunately I haven't been affected by that. My mom has perioral wrinkles so I know they're genetic.

I have an appointment with my derm at the end of July but I'm afraid he's going to be dismissive.

Found on the top of my white comforter (near my head). I can't remove it with detergent. Exterminator came on April 29th, didn't find anything but I've been having some weird skin reactions for the past month, sometimes in 2-3s.
