two jelly mamas (whoa)

I almost fell off my stepladder when I saw them both out at once. I got these blue jellies a little over a couple weeks ago and they've already got their eggs out. I feel like that meme of the lady with all the pancakes. and my bitch Amanos keep getting in the way of my photos

curious to see what you think

My handwriting varies a lot depending on the circumstances but this is what most of it looks like.

just chilling

It's like he's kicking his feet while sharing the remaining repashy with the snails. He comes out quite often during the day. 🥰

perfect pygmy spot

My driftwood has these lil nooks that are perfect for java ferns ... and pygmy naps apparently!! Plus a goofy perching pic I also posted on r/fishfacingforward.

thoughts on repashy foods?

I finally got my hands on some repashy community plus and morning wood. everyone immediately locked in and found them!! i have amano shrimp, pygmy corydoras, harlequin rasboras, ramshorn snails along with my clown. this was a great solution to my worry that my rasboras would scarf everything down and leave nothing.

i want to mix the community plus and morning wood so I don't need to use separate molds. everyone seemed to switch between the two types I put in anyway. is that a bad idea? a lil wood fiber won't hurt anyone else I assume?

how long do you leave your repashy gels in your tank?

i have snails as well and wanted to let them graze on it too so I left them overnight. i was planning on pulling out whatever was left over, but they were gone by morning.

how do I know everyone has eaten the proper amount? especially my clown pleco? would they gorge themselves on this stuff to a harmful degree or can I trust them to fill up on what they need?

I'm planning on feeding repashy every 2 days or so. i have looked up my questions online and in forums, but would still like to hear from others here on their experience with repashy. 😊 like what kinds you use, if you mix, what kind of fish you have and how you prepare/place it.

thanks!!!

[GA] Seattle - Koi Betta

Good afternoon! I got this beautiful koi betta a while back and have been trying to acclimate him to community living. He went into an established 20 gallon first but after killing a couple roommates I separated him and have been trying to get him used to tankmates by keeping him with feeders.

Unfortunately, he's still trying to kill everything roomed with him, and I can't keep him long term in his quarantine tank because it's too small. I think it'd be best if he were rehomed to someone with a bigger tank.

His name is Sprinkle of Confetti (sprinkle for short). He's very curious, energetic and eats super well. He's already trained to come to the surface for feeding if you wiggle your finger above the water and goes through hoops for worms. He also goes to bed for treats as well. (I may have been training him like a dog)

It really hurts my heart to rehome him but I think it's for the best.

PU in Greenwood/98133. I can meet elsewhere in Seattle. Comment before DM.

pygmy corydoras

10 pygmies joined my community tank today. I've been considering corydoras for a long time and settled on pygmy cories because they're so small and cute, and their funny behavior interested me.

They were quick to start exploring after acclimating and occasionally swim with the rasboras. Such funny little guys. I really enjoy watching them moving around together in a group.

my favorite morph

Blue leopard ramshorn. Bought some on eBay, it's cool to see how their shells have developed since then. Blue is my favorite color so it's no surprise these are my favorite. 💙🩵

[GA] Vandiver, AL - Albino Common/Sailfin Pleco

A friend of mine was sold a "bristlenose" but it has quickly become apparent that it is not a bristlenose and is most likely a common/sailfin. Unfortunately my friend does not have the tank size to keep it and the shop won't take it back.

My friend has some unique circumstances and cannot drive. Pickup in 35176 but shipping is most ideal and likely the least hassle. If you're willing to cover all or part of the shipping cost he is all yours!

I'm willing to cover some of the costs too if it means getting this guy in a proper home. We would love for him to join a large community tank or even a pond.

Albino common or sailfin pleco, currently 5-6 inches. Currently in a community tank stocked with corydoras and tetras. Classic shy personality. Eats well. Most likely a male but we're not pleco pros.

It would mean the world to us if someone could rehome this guy! Please comment before DM. Much appreciated.

I love when they do this.

Lots of good viewing spots in the tank to admire their land.

'pistachio' or 'white stripe'?

The floor gave me this tradescantia. I'm more familiar with the purple varieties and couldn't find a concrete answer on what these white varieties are called.

The pot the floor may have gotten this piece from looked to be from Costa Farms, and they advertised it as some kind of rare tradescantia. The last tradescantia I got from them was labeled a syngonium so I doubt most of that company's labeling.

Would appreciate y'all's opinions.

egg clutch ( +1 loose baby)

Some of my clutches have hatched. They're quite speedy and tiny. You can see one running laps around this clutch and you can see their shells moving inside the eggs! I'll post more in the comments.

It's been exciting to document the growth of these clutches. I have lots of videos and pictures and it's always hard to choose which ones to post.

I'm almost done gathering shipping supplies. Ramshorns at the cost of shipping are nearly upon ye!
