Has Christian dating been modernified?
Is it now uncommon to find a man that wants a traditional relationship i.e woman stays home with the kids and he’s the one that works nowadays even in the Christian community?

*sigh* the office is not my place, I just can’t with the fake smiling, fake small talk, forceful conversations, forceful “networking“
Honestly I shouldnt have taken this job as a grad estimator holy smokes I hate it already and I haven’t even started/ met my team. I’m not enthusiastic at all about it and they will probably be able to tell.
Do you care if they don’t chat much or at all? Like if they mind their business, don’t discuss about their life or ask about yours, do what they are told and are enthusiastic about contributing/learning, ask questions about their tasks and overall perform well but aren’t social
What impression would you get about them?

Posted a couple of days ago that I landed a job as a graduate estimator.
I still don’t know if this is a good career choice
This is a general outline :
- Working for a Tier 1 UK contractor
- Pre-con phase
- Water resources
- Client is the biggest water company in the UK
my questions :
- if it’s pre-con what do I do on site? and why do they want me on site every week?
- would I be able to move from water sector to other sectors afterwards ?
- can I move from pre-con afterwards?
- are there a lot of women in estimating?
- how stable is a career in estimating?
- dangers of ai?
I just want to go in, be cordial and polite, do my job and go home.
in the uk there’s a big culture of going to the pub/grab lunch/go to dinner together and I genuinely don’t have the social bandwidth for that, at my previous workplace I took my lunch 1h before everyone else to avoid having to spend the only hour I have for myself with my coworkers
it did bring me issues as I’m a junior and I depend heavily on the team for guidance, my previous team resented me to some extent because I didn’t want to go to any event or partake in what I mentioned above and the difference was even more noticeable because the other junior was an a**licker
thar did cause me some issues as my manager was a very outgoing and classed as the “funniest and nicest in the office”, our personalities were completely the opposite and he ended up not being very willing to help me and would pile work on me instead of sharing it between the other junior and I, and we wouldn’t really talk unless he was giving me something to do and I’d just confirm by when I’ll get it done
now I have resigned and I’m starting a new job, male dominated field I believe my whole team are men ranging from 40-60 and I’m 25 and a junior, I just don’t want to be treated diffentely as my standard of work is good, I go above and beyond to deliver quality in what I do

I’m a graduate, I am due to start my scheme in September.
im a 5’1 25 yo woman and my degree is in civil engineering, I’m shy and reserved and quite bad when it comes to social skills
am I cooked? what do I do now 😭
is estimating a good long-term choice?
landed my first May 2025 left that job after 5 months and i just landed another one today for a better salary - both companies were tier 1 contractors
dont lose hope and dont settle! there’s always a spot for you
Broke up 4 years ago (I was the dumper) and we never spoke again. The last time I saw him was when I gave him his things back.
I don’t know how he looks, i haven’t heard his voice and i don’t know what’s happening in his life.
It started as an ego battle as we both thought it was each others fault and ended up in perpetual silence.
I might be delusional, but there’s something intimate about sharing so much with someone and never seeing or hearing from them again. Almost brings me joy, because in my mind he remains the man I knew and I only imagine that good things have happened to him throughout these 4 years.
Sometimes when people come back are total strangers and it just ruins the memory you have of them and takes away part of what you lived with them - almost if the person dies but to me he’s still the person I knew because I don’t know who he is now.
status, dominance and money is what matters
height and physical features, dc honestly and this is prevalent in many cultures
if I was a short man I’d focus on making bank rather than being jacked up
I can’t actually believe it. Failed my test yesterday in Mill Hill and this morning I got a test for the 4th of August so a month until my next test at the same test centre!
Got blocked 2 times on my pc and phone before right at checkout and I freaked out but then I managed to book it on a third device!
So happy! The test centre is always fully booked coz it’s in London 🫠
Supposed to have a lesson with him this morning, his phone is turned off and hasnt messaged me. He was a bit weird during our last lesson.
What‘s wrong with people? I’m 98 lbs and I have always been around the same weight. I guess putting skinny people down is a trend.
Started doing hot pilates last week and I’ve been going everyday in the morning 7/8/9 am for 1hour. It feels amazing!
I have never been a fan of exercise, I’d always just starve myself to be skinny fat, I do like the weight im at right now (101 lbs - 46kg - 5’2) and now I feel like I just want to eat healthy alongside doing hot pilates everyday and getting some steps in.
Whats great is that a lot of lessons use weights, and I notice soreness afterwards but when I go in the next day, with the heat, I don’t feel any pain and I can follow the class normally.
Im super happy that I get to move my body more.
