Tips and tricks for working 32 count fabric, 2 over 1

I have a kit I ordered that is the first project I will be doing that actually intimidates me because I've never worked on 32 count before. It is a combination of blackwork and regular cross stitch so thats easy enough for me but any other tips for doing such fine work is appreciated. Other than lots of light because I know I am definitely going to need it!

I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her

Camina was a long stay senior cat who i suspect was neglected by her previous owner and is now living out her best pampered and well loved life.

The look of horror on her face makes this picture priceless. I miss her every day

Finished! (except for taking the gridding out of course)

I love projects like this because it only took me about 3 weeks despite all my challenges with the border and the metallic floss. I'm going to pay and get this custom framed to match the map of Arrakis I got myself about 2 years ago. I'm so happy with how it turned out.

Update from yesterday, started the words and after a few mishaps, I am well on my way!

Next time I design something im making it easier in myself! (Probably not)

Border is done!

There are a lot of mistakes in the border because i kept confusing myself. I designed the pattern, you'd think i would have made it easier on myself. Speaking of hard, inside will be the Litany Against Fear and i am doing it with regular and metallic floss. Wish me luck!

Super gentle sunscreen for my chest recommendations please!

I've been on meds that make me hyper sensitive to the sun (it looks like the picture but include little blisters that make me want to peel my skin off) on my chest but it seems that every sunscreen i have tried makes me red, itchy and get bumpy or if its a mineral one leaves that white film that gets on my clothes. This is after trying yet another product yesterday with no actual sun exposure. Its especially frustrating because this doesn't happen anywhere else on my body no matter what sunscreen I use. Help!

[WIP] Finally picking this back up

Took a break to make some presents and do some commissions so I am finally getting back to this one. Can't wait to finish and frame it

My friend gave me her first finished project

I am so touched and honored that she gave this to me. She did a beautiful job.
