Ordered a size M and got this long sleeve from their most recent concert merch run. I’m not mad about it but I would be open to trading for another M or L of older merch. Either way this was fun!

I know that some people prefer soft food, sensory-wise; there is nothing I love more than a good CRUNCH to my food. I basically cannot get grossed out by crunchy food ( as long as it’s supposed to be crunchy ). I just finally bought an air fryer and this is it, this is the appliance I’ve always needed.
I used to be a vegetarian, but every time I tried to cook tofu it tasted alright but was so mushy and soft I couldn’t eat more than a bit. NO MORE!! Today I made crispy perfectly crunchy tofu in my air fryer and then I ate like, half a block of it. Life is good.
Food pic attached, spoilered for those who do not wish to see.
TLDR: will I reap the benefits of decreased consumption even if I don’t quit entirely?
My relationship with weed has fluctuated a lot in the decade I’ve been smoking. There’ll be periods of time where I feel like my relationship with it is fantastic and I feel no desire to quit. Then, like lately, I’ll feel like my consumption is a bit high and will start to really feel the effects of my daily use: brain fog, fatigue, irritability, etc. just generally stuff that I’d rather do without.
I’ll be starting college soon (not 18- I’m an older student) so I’m planning on significantly cutting back. No wake and baking, particularly, but my goal is to save it mostly for the weekends after I get off my grueling food service job or other special occasions. I DON’T want to quit entirely, I love what weed can do for me, but my consumption absolutely needs to be dialed back.
So my question is, can I still reap the benefits from decreased consumption even though I don’t want to quit entirely? I know this seems like a stupid question but I don’t know anyone who has been at my level of consumption and has cut back like this so I suppose I just want to hear from the community. TIA
I already own one of the mass market versions which I haven’t read yet and I did away with most of my other Gaiman stuff already. But I saw this edition today at my local pre-owned bookstore and fell in love with the front cover illustration. It’s even from my birth year! I think I have to finally get around to reading it now.
Title, I was planning on taking them buccally but it seems like vaginally is preferred by most people who have done it that way. Will it still be effective if it’s been awhile since I took the first pill? I’m in a safe state.
Do you ever just have a childhood memory or habit randomly hit you like a truck at 6:30 am? Idk why but I just remembered I had a terrible habit of sucking on my hair when I was a kid (ages 5-8 maybe). Not sure exactly when the habit was broken or why but I do distinctly remember parents, teachers and peers trying to break me of it because it disturbed them haha. Did anyone else do this?
I’m currently about halfway through Wise Blood, and while I really don’t want to DNF it because I’ve been super picky this year I also am really struggling to understand it or want to read it. (I know I don’t have to read it if I don’t want to, but I want to see what everyone else loves about it before giving up). WB is not really weird girl lit but since O’Connor is a prolific female writer from the early 20th century I was wondering if she had any weird girl lit that might be more intriguing to me than Wise Blood. Or I would love to hear any reasons I shouldn’t DNF from someone who really enjoyed it.
Side note, the book I read before this and absolutely loved was Anna Kavan’s Ice. Not weird girl lit, but written by a very weird girl.
I do have the pain associated with gastritis, which luckily for me is generally avoidable, but I have been belching constantly for over a year now and I seriously feel at my wits end. No one around me understands how irritating and uncomfortable it is to wake up burping and go to bed burping. Doesn’t matter what I eat, what I drink, if I exercise, etc I’m just fucking burping 24/7 and it’s starting to seriously affect my mental health. I’m constantly obsessively googling how to prevent and stop belching even though I know damn well exactly what it’s going to say. I have followed the advice of my gastroenterologist but I haven’t noticed any significant improvement.
I’m going in for a second h. Pylori test tomorrow but if it’s negative again I genuinely don’t know what to do next. I’ve been avoiding red meat, acidic food, carbonation, alcohol, processed meats, fried food, etc. The lifestyle change I’ve been avoiding making is quitting smoking weed but I’ve read that chronic usage can weaken your esophageal muscles and cause belching.
I cannot even fathom living the rest of my life like this, it is so absolutely miserable and embarrassing and I need positive stories from former constant belchers and what worked for you. I don’t want to be reliant upon simethicone and famotidine forever.
If you read this then thank you and I wish the best to all my fellow gastritis sufferers.
If anyone snags a pic of the merchandise table and would be so kind as to share it here, that would be much appreciated 🙏 Also, any footage of BdN as well, going to one of the later dates so won’t be able to see either of the supports </3
i'm a beverage girly. my go-to drinks of choice before dealing with constant bloating and awful gas in the form of belching were iced americanos and sparkling water, arnold palmers, and the occasional glass of wine. now that literally all of those are out i'm struggling to find a replacement. of course i do drink regular water, plenty of it- maybe it sounds dramatic but having fun beverages is literally a QOL thing for me. i can push through the bland foods, lack of red meat, cutting down gluten and sugar, etc. but not being able to sip on whatever i want has me so sad.
i was on iced almond milk matcha lattes with honey for a bit, they didn't seem to cause any flares. but sometimes i am not in the mood for caffeine or a glass of milk. i do enjoy peppermint tea and other hot teas, but while it's really hot out i'm looking for something iced instead. stevia gives me insane hiccuping/burping attacks so anything with that is out. so, what do you guys drink? i am all ears!
I just got a pair of Moxie panthers, the correct size based on the size chart, my foot measurements and the conversation I had with the SkateRatz employee who packed them for me. But they are crunching the fuck out of the widest part of my foot, right where that bone sticks out below your big toe and the outside edge of the foot. It’s really uncomfortable and borderline painful but the next size up would be a full inch too big. So my question is, do these things break in width wise? Length is perfect. Tia :)
where do people (beginners) go to outdoor roller skate? i’ve heard of not being allowed on tennis courts but that’s where i was hoping to practice since it’s smooth and flat. any safe and relatively empty spots for beginners?
I just got my endoscopy results and the next step for me in this whole gastritis thing is getting tested for H. pylori. Barring that, my physician implied the only thing left to do to lessen the effects of the GIT is make lifestyle changes. I can give up alcohol, and cut as much inflammatory stuff out, but having to quit weed would really suck. Does anyone have experience with this? Did lessening smoking help your gastritis issues?
hear me out- not asking for advice losing weight unhealthily, just trying to take advantage of the situation. i’ve been sick the past week and the loss of appetite hit me really hard. i’m over the hill with it now but this inability to eat properly has left me 5 lb down and in the high 160’s- which has been my goal for years now.
is there any way to maintain this 5 lb loss even as i go back to eating regularly? the gym is probably out of the question for me until next week due to work scheduling and a lingering cough but other than that i’m open to whatever. i would really like to see myself stay in the 160’s even though it’s unfortunate how i got there in the first place.
