On a night when the full moon hung low and heavy over the world, the clouds began to twist unnaturally, churning in spirals that defied the wind. From the roiling mist descended a massive, diamond-shaped object, smooth and grey, its sharp edges catching the moonlight like a blade. For a moment it simply hovered, utterly silent, a shadow against the silver sky. Then, as the clouds peeled away in slow, trembling ribbons, a great eye appeared at the craft’s center—round, unblinking, and ancient, its iris shimmering with colors beyond human comprehension.

The towns below stood frozen in awe and dread, watching as the monstrous eye widened, studying the earth as though searching for something it had lost. Slowly, almost ceremoniously, the diamond ship began to turn, rotating on its invisible axis. With each degree of its rotation, the air grew thicker, vibrating with a low hum that rattled windows and shook the very bones of the hills. Lights flickered along the craft’s edges, brief pulses of blue and violet that crackled with energy. The world seemed to hold its breath as the eye narrowed, a thin beam of searing white light gathering in its center.

Without warning, a terrible beam erupted downward, striking the ground with a force that split mountains and vaporized rivers. Forests ignited in walls of green fire, oceans boiled under the intensity, and entire cities vanished into craters of molten glass. The diamond craft continued its slow, deliberate rotation, firing again and again, carving a burning spiral into the face of the world. Above it all, the full moon shone coldly, illuminating the devastation below, as if bearing silent witness to the beginning of a new and terrible reign
