men ruining concerts

i’m a pretty avid concert goer of many genres, i like to show up early and get up close in the barricade. i understand and enjoy to some extent things like moshing and stage diving and whatnot, especially when it suits the genre - like a punk or hard rock show.

but goddamn, i went to just a normal ass rock concert last night and these men were out of control. people—mostly men who were pretty damn heavy—were crowd surfing constantly, and it was mostly the same guys going over and over again. it’s hard to enjoy the music when every 30 seconds you’re surprise getting kicked in the head and having to lift a sweaty giant man. not even joking when i say it was every 30 seconds or less

i’ve dealt w that at hardcore shows and don’t mind it as much bc i know what im getting into when i walk thru the doors, i just wish they’d cut it out at these other shows when so much of the audience is young women who don’t expect you to be doing that shit at all

i was up at the barricade with some other young girls and most of them ended up having to be pulled up and over the barricade by security due to the crowd crush. they were getting trampled and couldn’t breathe. someone also threw up and 2 people fainted.

and when i try to complain abt this other men just shut it down and say “you shouldn’t have gone then” … idk i just think that for a general rock show where the audience is super varied we should have a lil consideration for our fellow audience members. i just know that if the audience was only women it would’ve been a much better experience lmao…

anyone have experience renting from Solo Real Estate?

i’m currently interested in one of their properties, but wanted to temperature check on how they are as a rental company. i currently rent in philly from a private landlord who’s very attentive so i’m a little spoiled

i noticed some negative feedback online but understand that people with decent experiences tend not to leave reviews. thus, i wanted to ask in this sub. any feedback is appreciated - thank you!

bad insomnia from this, and idk what to do

i got vss/hppd 5+ yrs ago from taking molly and then a pill of trazodone 2 weeks later

i’ve struggled w insomnia since taking the molly (hence trying trazodone), but the sleep got better after 2 months and then i was mostly able to manage 8hrs of sleep through the years, i would just always wake up once or twice throughout the night

however since december it’s been a lot worse. i wake up so many times during the night and am lucky if i can manage 6hrs of sleep. i cannot physically sleep more than that unless sleep deprived. i’ve tried cbt-i, hydroxyzine, amitriptyline 10mg, bromazolam, melatonin, zopiclone - nothing really helps.

i want to try seroquel or mirtazipine but given trazodone played a part in me developing this im scared to use anything ssri related for sleep. i mean at least the amitriptyline didnt worsen anything when i tried it at a low dose, but im scared to try anything else

does anyone have experience w sleep drugs and can advise me?
