Looking for a decent job, any resources I can look to?

I live in the greater Seattle area and recently moved to a new place, and genuinely having a hard time finding a job these past few months, Indeed isn't showing many good roles in my area because despite even searching for entry level, most of the jobs are sales, nursing related, physical therapy, caregiver, dental assistant, delivery driver, CDL, or require you to work weekends, nights, holidays for long periods of time or require licenses and certifications I just don't have, or that I'm bilingual (I'm not) or very far away, often times I don't get a call back either. Are there any company websites or websites someone can point me towards because I feel like I'm literally throwing a drop of water into the ocean 😭

Edit: All the help so far is appreciated, thank you everyone 😊

Is it supposed to suck this bad?

All I see in my area are sales jobs. I have no experience in sales, so I try to remove that from the search, and all the job listings I see are for physical therapist, dental assistant, delivery driver, medical related, or caregiver, or jobs that require a bunch of certifications, licenses or experience with esoteric software I don't have. So I put in entry level, and yet again I still see similar jobs like above that require me to have experience, speak a language I don't know how to speak, or require me to work holidays and weekends and require a bachelors degree and/or are far away. When I put in data entry, entry level I get like 2 jobs, which say they require 5+ years of experience 😭 this feels like such a humiliation ritual

Crashing everytime I alt+tab or unfocus fullscreen game

On the latest Nvidia drivers when trying to play Terraria, the game only gives me the options to use fullscreen or windowed. Editing borderless in the config file for Terraria does nothing, as its set to true, but is still showing borders. When I alt + tab or click off onto an app on my second monitor, it causes the entire cinnamon desktop environment to crash and forces me to restart the desktop manager, but doesn't do it all the time. Sometimes it unfullscreens and stays windowed. Checking or unchecking the "disable compositing for full-screen windows" does not stop this behavior from occuring. Is there a way to fix this without me having to use windowed mode and see the borders, or am I SOL. New Linux user if worth mentioning

Edit: There's also this horrible vsync/floatyness I cannot turn off despite trying to find anything online to disable it thats creating enormous amounts of input lag, if anyone has solutions its much appreciated.

Stuck at 0 views, and can't add to story

It started suddenly happening last month where all the videos I'd upload get stuck at 0 views for days despite before getting at least 300-1500 views, and only capping at about 10 views. My account status is all green. It's just not getting pushed to anyone. Followers are only seeing them despite my content not changing at all prior to this occuring. I post FL Studio/music content, nothing controversial or opinionated at all. I've tried contacting their support, but I've just gotten the same 3 canned responses no matter how differently I word my request. Did they change some hidden metric I haven't yet heard of, or is my stuff just ass now 😭

AGH only works when connected through tailnet

I cannot access the adguard home interface through the local IP (192.xxx.x.x) on devices inside my network or even use AGH if my devices aren't connected to Tailscale or else I get no connection, and it seems to only be accessible and listen through my tailscale IP and not my local IP even though the .yaml is set to 0.0.0.0 on port 82 for the admin console, and 0.0.0.0 port 53 for bind_hosts, any help is appreciated, otherwise if I'm connected through tailscale everything seems to work perfectly

Cannot access dashboard from other devices on network

I setup AdGuard Home on my PC, configured in my router, and I can access the login dashboard on the PC its installed on through "192.168.0.3:3000", but I cannot access the dashboard from any other device inside my network using that IP, even though the functionality of AGH works just fine on every device and is blocking ads like normal. Stranger though, is I can access the dashboard just fine through my Tailscale IP on the same port, I'm genuinely stumped, any help is appreciated.

Tailscale + Mullvad in Windows 10/11 - No internet connection with exit nodes

Mullvad exit nodes with tailscale works perfectly on my iPhone 16 Pro (26.5) but when I use an exit node on my Windows 11/10 machines, I immediately get no internet access. I do get internet access with tailscale on its own, but when enabling Mullvad's exit nodes I can't connect anymore. If I disconnect then reconnect tailscale on the affected devices, it works perfectly for about 5 minutes until it stops working again. All help is appreciated

Tailscale through mullvad exit nodes with any device will not give outside internet access inside home network, but works fine when using mobile data

Pretty much title, whenever I turn on mullvad exit nodes when connected to my home WiFi network (on my iPhone 16), I get no internet access (I get local access to the devices inside the network however) it’s probably worth mentioning that I’m using an AdGuard home DNS server configured at the router level and in my global name-servers, I have the Tailscale IP of the dns server in the name-server list so that devices outside the network route traffic to the dns server. When I switch to mobile data, everything works fine, I can see that my IP is the VPN IP and also have AdGuard blocking DNS requests, but as soon as I switch back to my wifi network, I do not get internet access. I do get internet access however, as soon as I turn off the exit node and do have internet access with Tailscale enabled, but as soon as I turn on the exit node I don’t. The same behavior also occurs on my Windows 11, and Windows 10 devices

Edit: I was using the Tailscale IP of the DNS server as the secondary server on my router which I think was the culprit, because I changed it and now it’s fixed for my iPhone, but I’m still having the same problem on my Windows PCs

Edit 2: that did not fix it, it seems to choose when to magically work and not work, the exit nodes only give me an internet connection when not connected to my home network, super frustrating 🫠

iOS camera software sucks

A multibillion dollar company still can’t figure out how to add an option that stops the camera from switching between jumping from normal and macro camera, after years of people having the same issue. third party apps like ig have the same problem where the camera erratically jumps from macro to normal. Still no option to adjust or turn off auto white balance on photos which in some cases is ridiculously busted and overly prioritizes blue tones. It’s sad that a phone that considers itself as “pro” still doesn’t have these issues/bugs fixed, makes me regret buying this if it can’t even get basic functions right

I installed Linux Mint a week ago on a drive I wasn’t using to dual boot as lifelong windows user, the OS is very snappy, easy to use and configure, I love where I have it so far. I even have a custom grub bootloader skin, I had to use the terminal a bit to get some things working out the box (AirPods 4 dual boot pairing, Tailscale, samba, rdp) but it was a lot easier than I thought, being used to cmd and powershell, and I got everything up and running how I’d use it in Windows, minus some small tools like gpuz or Logitech mouse configuration software

I got my Minecraft Java/mods and configs up and running with no problem, even though my PC isn’t bad where it’s at (32GB DDR4, 5600, 3080) I was pleased to find that not only does it run noticeably faster on Mint, but it also runs faster with shaders too, chunks loads faster, is generally just way more responsive than it ever is on Windows. I have no need to keep Minecraft on on windows anymore, and I’ll probably be slowly migrating things to Linux exclusively over time. I’m still tethered to windows because my creative work flow is still engrained in windows filesystem for FL Studio + vst3 directories, and they have better out of the box support and run faster on bare metal windows, but if things keep going where they are I’m totally okay with ditching windows entirely as I’m not attached to it. The whole OS, with a game open, and several tabs in the background takes 7GB of ram, where windows easily would’ve been double that 😭

I recently took an interest in Linux and decided to install Linux Mint in a dual boot configuration where Windows and Linux are on separate drives, when I have Ubuntu (the name of the boot manager) set as the primary in UEFI, it boots into grub which lets me choose which OS to boot, I have 4 drives in total, three are meant for Windows, and one has Linux installed, three of those drives are “windows boot manager” entries, and when I click all of them they boot into the windows recovery environment. Is that expected behavior? The way I switch between them currently is restarting into grub, booting into UEFI, then choosing windows boot manager of my main windows installation drive and it works perfectly doing that

Edit: Its showing several partitions on my secondary drives including the linux drive (disk 3)

Edit 2: Using Windows diskpart commands allowed me to delete the duplicate partitions, PSA be careful those commands, back up your stuff so you don’t accidentally wipe anything. A disk volume may be in dynamic disk, converting it back to basic disk when combining the volume will format all the data but thankfully I got lucky, so be warned

In network settings for ipv4 and ipv6, whenever I specify a secure DNS server for both entries (e.g https://cloudflare-dns.com:443/dns-query) and click save, it does not save. It reverts back to automatic assigning of DNS servers specified by my router, but my router firmware natively does not support DNS over HTTPS unless I make my own DNS server and point my router to it
