We need more recipes here...
If it seems slower here it is because a lot of activity was not organic.
In addition to the 77 accounts banned there are a lot of comments being caught in the filters, so there are fewer low value comments now.
So in my opinion, things are trending in the right direction.
Anyone who complains about squeezing a brisket or wearing black gloves is going to be banned. No exceptions no discussions.
Go to a different sub if you don't like it.
It's derails the conversations, it turns off the new people and it is a meme at this point. You are adding nothing of value.
Rule 8 has been in place for a long time now.
Lastly, bots have picked up on this nonsense, so one or two comments about gloves or squeezing turns into days of bots parroting you.
Stop enshitifying the sub.
FYI, now that the spam fighting has been enabled, we have banned 25 accounts for being bots in the past 12 hours.
Things will slip through, especially stolen pictures, so use the report feature of Reddit to let us know. Only leaving a comment is going to make this slower.
Eventually the Bot Farms will catch on and things will be much more organic around here.

Is this rare? Is this medium? Is this a charcoal briquette?!? Any question like that belongs in this thread and not as an individual post.

Hey folks, I went through the process to become the new moderator here.
I am tackling the AI nonsense, but if you have any suggestions or requests please respond to this thread here thanks.
Pet peeves?

What you would like most from the sub?
Things like that.
Sub seems to be unmoderated. Lots of AI posts the users are complaining about. I messaged the mod. No response.
I mod r/brisket and r/woodworking, so I know I can help out.
I cant decide what fish to put in this tank. I would like one one or two medium sized fish that won't outgrow the tank. They can't be jumpers because there is no lid.
