I swear everything thinks I accidentally cut my bangs too short but they're actually baby bangs

I got baby bangs and I loooove them. My friends my age (late 20s) say they look cute and a little alt. But most of the people I've seen at work have either said nothing or said something very neutral like "you got bangs." I do live in the South which is often five to ten years behind in fashion, and I work with a lot of people in their 40s or older. The most positive reactions I've gotten at work have been from 70 year old women lol

Anyway, I'm pretty sure they either don't like short bangs or think they were an accident and don't want to embarrass me. One person asked me "do you like them?" Which makes it so obvious she thinks they don't look good lol

Is there a way I can block someone from seeing my account if they have my username memorized?

I really don't want to delete my account, I have so much history and karma on here. But I have an ex who won't stop reading my account and then messaging me about it outside of reddit. I don't have any way to block them, I don't even know their username. It's really frustrating because this is meant to be anonymous and it's weird to have in the back of mind that an ex is reading my posts.

Low-no cooking ideas

I'm doing a challenge for myself and calling it Austere August. I'm looking for super cheap food ideas for someone who is terrible at cooking. I'm not rehydrating beans, I'm not baking bread. I would sooner mix a can of corn with a can of chick peas and make it a lemon chili salad. I prefer cold food, one dish of everything mixed together. I hate oatmeal.

Names that exude sweetness and perfection

I've had her for almost a year and have been using the name she came with, Princess. It suits her but I want to give her a more personal name from me, maybe keeping Princess as her royal title haha. She is super sweet, cuddly, almost a rag doll. She will sleep tucked under my arm like a teddy bear, she's just amazing. I'm thinking Princess Penelope would be cute. Or maybe something ethereal like Evangeline. Or something cutesy like Princess Pumpkin or Cinnamon. Ideas?

Bear's selfishness when he stops kissing Nikki reminds me of my ex

In the scene when Nikki first kisses Bear and then freaks out, Bear acts all worried and stops. But, his worry is still self focused. He says "you made me feel like I was doing something you didn't like." Not are you ok, not you seemed scared. Just, you made me feel bad. It reminds me a lot of my ex, who always got his feelings hurt when I didn't orgasm during sex. He would complain about how insecure it made him feel that he couldn't get me off. He wasn't concerned about me, it was about him and his feelings. It's the difference between selfishly wanting to be a nice guy/good lover, and actually caring about your partner.

Is there a solution for automatic feeders if one cat is eating both portions?

I have two automatic feeders, I time them together but they always get out of sync and in like a month they're a minute apart. I realized one cat is eating more than the other because she gained 2 pounds in 8 months and the other one stayed the same weight. I feed them wet food in the evening and the feeders go off when I'm not home. Should I try moving the feeders to separate areas?

My cats can't find food placed on my flat palm, they will sniff my finger tips and can't find the food, are they brain broken

Basically the title. It happened today with a little bit of egg yolk from my soft boiled egg. It has happened with treats too. Is this normal? I have two cats, both are 3 years old and I got them as adults a year ago so maybe they already learned in the past that food comes from fingers not palms? I'm baffled.

Something beautiful and not too complicated to watch stoned

I watched Ferngully high a few weeks ago and it was ethereal. The glowing aspects of the animation, and the oil monster were so cool. Want something similar, if it's 2D animation that's even better.

Experimenting with using fewer pieces, simpler designs. I liked how the metal in the astronaut complimented the metal in the cityscape.

Did anyone else have no moral compass when they first left Christianity?

I'm just thinking back on my first relationship after leaving. I ignored so many blaring red flags because I was too naive and sheltered the see them, plus I had always been told non Christians were morally bankrupt so I just thought that was how everyone was. I had never had a non Christian friend so when my boyfriend and his friends displayed their lack of integrity I had nothing to ground why it made me uncomfortable since I had only been taught god based morality. I also wasn't taught to trust my instincts so I ignored them.
