I missed a heart container on my first playthrough and now I’m trying to get the thinner achievement but that requires you to not help goofy and goofy gets you the health upgrade. Is it possible to finish the game to get the thinner achievements and then go back to help goofy or do I have to do a whole new playthrough?
Frieren - possibly the most powerful mage (maybe, I haven’t seen the whole show) but the problems they along their journey are more environmental and emotional rather than physical
Saitama - the most powerful hero in the entire world, which makes him incredibly bored. His biggest concern is getting to the store before the sale ends
Superman (sometimes) - I picked red son Superman because it’s the only one I can think of at the time but I know for a fact that this happens often. Superman could beat anyone physically but doing so would only cause more problems. The strongest man alive and strength is useless.
I was thinking about how it’s weird that even though gems don’t breathe, homeworld has a breathable atmosphere. Same with the fact that Steven’s bubble never runs out of air even when he activates it in the vacuum of space. I think that whatever the gems consume to keep themselves going, they produce the required chemicals for an atmosphere.
My main theory is that the gems were made as self replicating robots for a long dead alien civilization. The diamonds don’t seem to have any goal past “colonize and make more gems” so I think their original purpose was to be planted on a planet and create enough gems to take care of locals, make an atmosphere, and build a few temples before they would be deactivated by the other species. However, when their masters died off without giving the release order, the gems just kept working on the order to colonize planets and, with no one to stop them, they would absorbed all nutrition in a planet before moving on to the next one.
When Caine says he doesn’t like changing their minds because it won’t go well and kinger said “scratch. The first abstraction.” What did that mean, Caine didn’t cause the abstractions.
Overall I though it was a great finale, people complain about Jax getting all the screen time and, while he did take up like 75% of the movie which is probably really annoying for Jax haters, it makes sense considering he’s really the only one with an unfulfilled arc.
It wouldn’t be a problem if mind control was a more common stun but most of the time they’re just wrapped in webs or frozen and they’re saying some shit like “someone’s… controlling me!” No they arent! You’re very clearly wrapped in webs.
Like, obviously this is just a small nitpick but it always bothers me.

Edit: to everyone about to say “canon Jesus”, the Bible is not an adaptation. That’s just the real thing
Are there any anime recommendations involving a doomed romance where one of them betrayed the other and then years down the line they’re enemies where one of them is still in love but the other ones is still angry about the betrayal? I’m looking for a real “if things had gone slightly different they could’ve been perfect”. Like jinx and ekko from arcane but more focused on.
I don’t know if this is how the subreddit works but I’m gonna try it anyway. I used to really like this story when I was younger but I can’t remember if it was a show, movie, or comic. I’m wondering if there’s any anime with a similar vibe.
The story is about this guy who was a magical prodigy at a magic school with his friend. She started learning necromancy against the rules of the school and got kicked out. She comes back a few months later and as a vampire and, when he doesn’t agree to help her, she entrances him and forces him to help her steal tomes. Shortly after she starts feeling guilty and lets him go but by that point the elders realized he was stealing and they strip him of his magic. Being a magical prodigy he’s completely lost without his magic and all of his old friends turned out to only be friends because he was powerful. He spends some time in the town homeless and hoping that she would take him back but she never does. Around a decade passes and he finds out that she’s now the queen of a growing vampire kingdom. He becomes a vampire hunter and eventually he gets captured by her. She’s overjoyed to see him and thinks they can just pick up where they left off but he’s furious at her for ruining his life and abandoning him all this time. Lots of angst and drama follows.
The details aren’t really important but I’m mostly looking for a show with deep betrayal and a doomed romance.
Not just cap and magik, but specifically cursed captain and Eldridge armor magik
How close would a creature have to be to a dragon before we actually called it a dragon and not just give it a regular animal name? Is there an actual biology rule for this?
