I want to bike some of the banks Veronia trail. I don’t want to do the 40 miles round trip. Which way is nicer banks to stub Stewart or Vernonia to stub Stewart. Distance wise they seem about equal. I’m on an ebike so not too worried about incline.
My 6qt lift bowl mixer (KP26M9xCCU) is from Costco circa 2020. I can't seem to find a compatible scraper paddle (or any mixer accessories) for this model. I would prefer the double sided scraper, but it is very specific for which models it's for, and this isn't one of them. Is there something weird about this model?
Will be in anchorage for a few days early June 2027 and have time to visit one, which would you choose? I’m open to other day trips, but these two seem to be the major places to go.
I live in a high bike theft city (Portland, OR), what specific products (locks, alarms, tracking, etc) do you use for keeping your bike safe while locking outside during errands and such? This bike won’t be locked outside overnight. It does have a wheel cafe lock and a battery lock. I don’t really want to remove the batter every time. My older kryptonite ulock doesn’t seem to be good enough anymore (bought before cordless grinders were a thing).
I am going to be getting a new ebike soon and want to be able to to protect the best I can. It will be the most expensive bike I have ever owned (and one of the most expensive things I actually own). Do you have an alarm? GPS tracker? Did you remove the quick release skewers? what kind of Ulock do you have? Did you get a grinder resistant lock (my god they weigh a ton and are expensive)? Do you remove your battery? Any other preventive measures? If your bike did get stolen, what failed? Specific brands and models would be helpful.
For context, I know my renters insurance will cover theft. It won't be parked outside at night, but I do want to go to NW 23rd or NE Alberta and lock it up and walk around without worrying about it. I would love to know what everyone is doing.
Just curious, I’m about to get a new e-bike and was curious how many people replace their quick release skewers. Long term parking is a secure apartment bike room, but I do plan to lock it up at Fred’s, new seasons, places like that, hopefully for not more than like an hour at a time. Is it necessary? I know shit gets stolen all the time, anyone get their wheels stolen?
Per a lot of recommendations of this sub, I tried Loreal Ever Pure Volumizing Conditioner. It made my hair feel great and really soft, but I just couldn't with the scent. It's just to strong for me and very much on the musky side of scents. Redkin was also suggested as it's also made by Loreal, but I didn't like the scent of it either. Does anyone have a good replacement for the Volumizing Conditioner? I am willing to spend up to $30 a bottle. I have tried Verb Ghost conditioner, Biolage volumizing conditioner and JVN embody, but none seem to work as well as Loreal.

Part PSA, part do you know why… Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice in Kahului is temporarily closed. Went when we landed last week and it was open, tried to go yesterday before the airport and it was disappointingly closed. Google says temporarily closed. Anyone know why?
