guess what, the first date i went on literally ruined my confidence… i was just talking to him and smiling/laughing but after eating dinner, he literally told me “you’re a nice person, but i’m sorry i have this thing where i hyperfixate on teeth and yours really bothered me and also i couldn’t stand your jaw shifting to the side when you talk (i have a crossbite on top of my overbite/overjet)”
i can’t believe other people can say this out loud because i would never do that to another person :’)

i used to be so careful with it because i was scared of scratches, marks, and basically anything that would make it look less “new” lol. but the more i use it, the more i’m realizing that all those little marks are what make the leather look so much better.

sent in a brand new product to take advantage of the free nib exchange program… it was the juliet doue classique and i’m already waiting for about 2 months now… no updates since june 1st :( how much longer do i have to wait?
i’m still learning to watercolor (i paint like a kid ik) but i wanted to experiment using the gold marker AND IT TURNED OUT SO BAD (see 2nd photo)
now i miss how it used to be and i really wanna cry bc this took me abt 2 hours and its so ugly :’) i’ve painted this on my favorite journal and now i don’t know if i should just rip the page out or just keep it to track progress but feel sad whenever i see it 😭

I’ve been putting this off because of financial issues and can’t really afford health checkups right now, but I think it’s finally time to do something about my skin.
I’m a bit lost with the process. How do I book an appointment with a dermatologist? Do I need to see a primary care doctor first? I don’t have a primary doctor, so I’m not sure where to start.
My left side (2nd photo) has less active acne, but I have pitted acne scars. My right side has more active breakouts as well as some pitted scars.
My acne has also really affected my self-esteem. Whenever I’m talking to someone, I can’t stop thinking that they’re staring at my skin instead of listening to me. Today, someone even gave me unsolicited advice to “eat healthier” so I’d have clearer skin.
I’ve also noticed it affecting my dating life. On dating apps, conversations often end after a day or two, and when I’ve asked why, some guys have told me they’re just not attracted to girls with acne. Hearing that has been really painful.
i think it turned out ‘okay’, like 5/10 at least but my friend said it looks like it was made by a 6 y/o so that affected my confidence and honestly made me feel down :’)
got gifted the Lamy AL-Star in the flamingo colorway and oh my… she’s gorgeous!!! writes smoothly out of the box too 🥹 they had my name engraved on it as well which makes it even more special

guys i’m really worried… they said my packages were delivered to the parcel locker today but i checked and i didn’t see any key/boxes left
i’m worried they might’ve put the key into another person’s mailbox and that person stole it
i can’t stay still and they’re already closed so i can’t even call them
what do you do in this situation? it’s the 1st time that this happened to me and i’m a very anxious person
