Excited to add this issue to my collection. I now have the first and last issues of the original Dragon Ball run, the “last” issue of Dragon Ball and the “first” issue of Dragon Ball Z (the series was only ever Dragon Ball in the manga; it was the anime that added the Z), as well as the first issue of Super and some significant other issues (first appearance of Vegeta, Super Saiyan, Majin Vegeta, the English translations of Neko Majin, and issue that came out after Toriyama’s death).

Couldn’t decide between Hiya Godzilla 2000 or GMK, so I broke down and got both and then picked up SHMA Final Wars to round out the Millennium set.

When I got the figure, I thought it was just a weird effect. Finally looked at reviews, and nope - I just got one with a serious QC problem.

Weekly Shonen Jump 1994 Vol. 9. Majin Vegeta is my favorite character in Dragon Ball, and the title page from this chapter is my favorite in the series. The whole scene at the tournament is, I believe, Toriyama’s best writing. So happy to have finally tracked this down for a reasonable price!

Such an iconic moment. Been waiting on this sculpt for so long.

Hard not to jump on those reissues when this Piccolo can slot into almost every Saga shelf in my collection.

Trainer Red uses Espeon in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal and Lapras in HeartGold/SoulSilver.

In anticipation of getting into Master Ball Tier and getting the Rank Master Title using Trainer Red’s team, I tracked down the whole set from the Pokémon Scale World Series. I’m such a sucker for how they maintain the video game scaling.

Lapras isn’t available in Champions, so I used Espeon, but I decided to get both for this display.

My wife bought it for me for Father’s Day. Easily replaced the original version. This one really captures that aura from the anime. Now I’ve got both this and the Toyotarou versions.
