Moving Forward: A Small Update
A small update:
Thank you to everyone who gave constructive feedback. I genuinely took it into account. I've improved my packaging for all future orders because I do believe there's always room to improve.
One thing that hasn't changed is that I'll continue keeping my buyers updated throughout the shipping process, just as I did before. All of my recent buyers have received their parcels safely and are happy with their orders. This incident was the only exception. And nobody knows where it went wrong. We've also split the bill anyway. (She refused to post an update even after I asked her to, despite people unnecessarily tagging and blaming me. But I guess someone has to be sensible.)
To everyone who was quick to label me a scammer without knowing the complete story: your assumptions made an already stressful situation much worse. I hope next time you'll consider hearing both sides before passing judgment.
I'll continue trying to be a transparent and responsible seller while also learning from every experience. Thanks again to those who offered genuine advice.

Need to leave India after MBBS. Which country gives IMGs the best chance?
Hi everyone.
I'm a 2nd-year MBBS student in India. I currently live in my college hostel, so I'm physically away from home most of the time, but my long-term situation is what worries me.
My father is financially unstable and is struggling to pay even my current college fees. He's also extremely abusive and controlling. After MBBS, I'm afraid I'll be forced back into that environment and have very little control over my own life, including pressure to get married. My goal is to become financially independent and settle abroad.
I have a psychologist friend in Canada, but from what I've researched, the Canadian pathway for IMGs seems very difficult and expensive.
I'm looking for the country with the most realistic pathway considering my circumstances:
- Limited financial resources.
- Indian MBBS degree.
- A good chance of getting accepted into residency or training.
- The ability to earn while training.
- Good long-term settlement prospects.
I'm willing to learn a new language, move to smaller cities, or take a more challenging route if it genuinely gives me a better chance of building a stable future.
I'd really appreciate honest advice based on real experience.

Seller here. Buyer claims 4 out of 6 products were missing. Am I really liable for a refund?

Hi everyone, I need an unbiased opinion.
I sold 6 haircare products through this subreddit and shipped them via India Post Speed Post.
I packed all 6 products inside a SHEIN bag, wrapped it in newspaper, and the parcel weighed 255 g at dispatch.
The buyer claims she received only 2 products, with 4 Redken products (worth ~₹1,000) missing. The 2 Kérastase products were still inside.
She has an unboxing video showing a small opening at the back of the parcel. However, based on my packaging, I don't understand how only specific products could've been removed. The newspaper would've had to be opened, the SHEIN bag removed, only the Redken products taken, and then the parcel partially sealed again.
I filed a complaint with India Post. After their inquiry, they said the products couldn't have been removed through the visible opening and that the parcel would've had to be opened properly and resealed. They couldn't determine where it happened.
A few things also made me suspicious:
Out of 20+ buyers, she was the only one who told me she'd had similar incidents before and had refunded her own customers.
She first sent me "Hey, I received the parcel" and immediately deleted the message before later informing me that products were missing.
I had 20+ successful sales on the same day, and none of my other buyers have ever reported receiving an incomplete parcel.
If the parcel had accidentally torn during transit, I'd expect all the contents to fall out, not just 4 specific products to disappear. I'm attaching photos of the parcel for reference.
The buyer wants a full refund/replacement of the missing products and says she'll report me to the mods. The subreddit rules state that buyers must record an unboxing video, whereas sellers can record a packing video, so I didn't record one.
Am I expected to bear the entire loss here, or should this be treated as a transit dispute? I'd appreciate unbiased opinions from both buyers and sellers.
Update: The buyer is not even ready to split.
