Working on car in public place?

I've been seeing a lot of videos of mobile mechanics lately and I've been wondering what the legality of working on cars in a public place is? I'm not adverse to wrenching on my own vehicle but I also don't have a proper place to work on it. my home situation doesn't allow for me to work in my parking spot and I don't necessarily want to pay to have somebody do simple stuff like change the oil or rotate my tires.

I know most plazas are private property, but would it be legal to work on my truck in a public place?

FML... How much is this going to cost me now....

went to grab something from my truck and noticed the driver side tail light hanging weirdly, no sign of outer damage or being hit... just decided it didn't wanna be normal anymore....

how to know when/where to use original parts vs aftermarket parts

I was walking with this gentleman the other day, and we were talking about my how everything got more expensive with products and services lately, and he mentioned that for my 22 tacoma, I should only use original Toyota air filters, except for the cabin filters, any cheap thing from an auto-parts store would do. I should ideally use original Toyota oil filters, but not use original Toyota engine oil. original brake and power steering fluids but aftermarket front / rear differential fluid, and it didn't matter for the transfer case...

how do I know when I'm supposed to use original parts and where, does it actually make a difference or was this man just talking out of his ass and pretending like he knew what he was talking about and wasn't really a real mechanic?

Looking for a way to combine all similar sheets from different workbooks into 1 new Book

we have a few customers who are ordering goods from us and different departments will basically get the same digital order form to fill out what they want. We have it set up so we have different garments types on different sheets with formulas and links to keep things organized for customization(in case certain customers want their names on certain goods.

I'm trying to figure a way to consolidate the same sheets from different workbooks together to create one master order form for out production staff.

for example, all of our workbooks will have sheets that for garments like sweatshirts, work shirts, overalls, work pants, jackets, etc. I would like to be able to grab all the sheets that say work shirts and copy them all into 1 book.

I looked into using a power query but the imported data doesn't visually look the same as the the original document. I'd like to have it remain the same.

I've been manually copying each sheets into a new document and while it does the job, it's very tedious to do when a customer has 20+ departments to do.

Any brake / parts cleaners made in canada or canadian owned?

was working on my dad's car the other day and was wondering if there was any canadian alternative to brake kleen. Any mechanics out there know of a canadian manufacturer for CRC or Gunk alternatives?

Is there any canadian base online resource to sell digital art/ templates like vecteezy, freepik and/or shutterstock?

I just designed a set of emojis, it would be cool to be able to sell them on a canadian platform.

How do you fish these soft plastics with jig heads?

I got these last year and watched a few trout magnets videos of fishing with a float and jigging them in the water but I haven't been able to make them work.

Can anybody shine some light on how I should fish using these?
