The Hurricanes fall to 0-7 all-time in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final

They lost Game 1 of the ECF in 2002, 2006, 2009, 2019, 2023, and 2025 before adding this game for unlucky number 7.

I reformed my faith right before my original ruler died to change the gender preference to Equal, forgetting that the oldest child was a daughter that I had already married patrilineally

Whoops. At least the Breton get a really good playing tall boost in 867 (at least until Francia exploded into a million pieces next door), so I can run it back with the same character and not make that same mistake.

For the first time ever, an Ottawa Charge Walter Cup finals game ends in regulation

Almost kept the streak going there, but Rebecca Leslie had other ideas.

Incidentally, all but one of their finals games have ended 2-1.

With Hamilton getting a team, will Sarah Nurse get the franchise tag from them?

Every expansion team gets to sign 1 player to an EFO which is a fully guaranteed, lucrative contract. With Nurse being from the area, they’ll surely put her on the list - does Nurse opt to go there or extend with Vancouver?

How many unknown phone calls have you gotten since the data theft?

I’ve had 5 calls in the past week from unknown 587 numbers, including 3 in the last ~30 hours. This has to be connected to the leak as this wasn’t an issue before. Anyone else suddenly getting their phone blown up?

It’s fun having my personal information out there especially as a member of multiple communities targeted by the UCP…

The higher seed is now 0-7 all-time in PWHL playoff series

Minnesota has won twice from the 4 seed while facing the 3 seed, and now 4-seed Ottawa knocked off 2-seed Boston.

Can Montreal break the curse tomorrow night?

Game 2 against Boston in 2024 went to three overtimes, then Game 2 against Ottawa in 2025 went to four. Now Game 2 against Minnesota is going to a third overtime.

EDIT: Poulin wins it on a cannon and the series is tied 1-1.
