Do you withhold or avoid selling items that are sensitive to heat like vinyl stickers or vinyl skins in the summer and only sell them in the winter or spring months?

So I have a Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness GameCube Custom Skin. Its a rare collectible for Pokemon fans because the only way to get this was to pre-order Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness before it released back in 2005. It was never on sale and also most people at the time immediately peeled the skin off and stuck it onto their GameCube so finding a complete set that has not been taken off the sticker backing is very hard. I think there is only like 7 on sale on ebay and only a few sold ever on ebay. I have one of these still in it box and its worth between $120 - $200, but I'm not sure if I should list it right now in the middle of summer. The material for the sticker is a raised vinyl material meaning its a sticker with like a raised clear thick vinyl layer of top that give it thickness so its not just a flat sticker. I'm worried the vinyl would warp or melt especially in 100 degree Fahrenheit weather and way hotter inside the USPS trucks. Should I just wait to sell this item?

Do you guys ever purchase USPS insurance from ebay when shipping an item that has a value over $100?

I just sold a highly collectible PS2 video game. It sold for $150 which is over the $100 limit that USPS Ground Advantage covers for free so if anything happens to it USPS will only payout a max of $100 if its their fault. When purchasing the label ebay mentioned this and said that I can buy additional coverage for $3.17 that would cover the entire $150. Its only $3.17 so I just did it. Have any of you done the same before?

Is something happening with USPS? I shipped out an item that has not updated in 24 hours and I also have something that I order that was shipped out at the same time that has not updated in 24 hours,

Yesterday I dropped off a package early in the morning. It got scanned at the initial post office and was scanned again towards the end of the days around 4 p.m. but that was it. Its bee stuck at "On the Way, Arrived at USPS Facility" for 24 hours.

I also placed an order for something over the weekend and it was also shipped yesterday too. That package is stuck on "Accepted, USPS Picked Up Item" since yesterday morning.

Two separate packages, one sent by me and one from someone else being sent to me have not updated in 24 hours. Is this happening to another else?

Retro game sellers, is there a market for highly collectible SNES games that is CIB Complete In Box so it has everything, but it also has a severely damaged box?

I'm not even sure if I should even list these because I'm not sure if there is a market for them. I have these two highly collectible SNES games. One is Contra 3 Alien Wars and the other is Battletoads in Battlemaniacs. Contra 3 Alien Wars can go for $200+ if its a CIB and Battletoads in Battlemaniacs can go for $300 if its a CIB. I have both in CIB but the issue is that the boxes are not in great condition. I would qualify them as poor or fair. With Contra 3 Alien Wars there is a part of the box that has a hole in it. The cartridge and everything can still fit in the box and you can close it up. For Battletoads in Battlemaniacs the top flap that folds over to close the box well the part that is creased so that is can fold over and close is tearing. It teared about 2 /3rd of the way but is still attached to the box. You just have to be careful opening it too many times. The cartridge themselves is in pretty good condition and the pins look good too. The booklet is also in fair condition like they have some wear but they are not torn or falling apart. So, is there a market for these? What do you think would be the listing price of these?

Ebay sellers that sell used video games especially old ones like GameCube and PS2 games how often do you get refund or return request?

I'm currently selling some old, but moderately valued PS2 and GameCube games that range from $40 - $170. I test the game by booting it to the main menu and then play it for a couple of minutes. The thing is that there is no way possible to test every single game from beginning to end testing out every character and unlockable and looking for every secret. Sometimes a hidden collectible in a far off corner of the game that the person you sold the game to collects and it cause the game to crash. So how do you handle refunds / returns and also how often do you have to do it?

Some of my games have lots of scratches and some of them don't. I make sure to note that and also take plenty of photos of the scratches in my listing.

Can I get some clarification on if I would get in trouble or not?

So my situation is that I am currently unemployed and job hunting. I am not receiving any form of unemployment. I am selling some really old video games that I have had with me for over a decade on ebay. Some of these were probably worth $20 - $40 when they were first sold and are now worth $100+ while some are only worth $43. I am estimating that I could get a total of $477 for selling all 8 items in which about $300 would profit so I sold it for more then what I got it for. If later on in the year I do land a job in less say the $40,000 a year range would I have to file taxes on the ebay sale? I tend to forget things so I am worried that if once I start working months from now I will completely forget about all the sale I made. What would happen if next year when filing taxes I completely for get to list the $477 in total sales from ebay?

If the PS6 launches at $1,199 without a disc drive + ~$117 sales tax and a disc drive that is sold separately at $100 + ~$7 sales tax and launch games are $90 + ~$6 sales tax and an extra controllers is $90 + ~$7 sales tax would the console sell well and would you buy it? Total would be $1,616.

I had to make a separate post to show people what the actual cost could be and I'm being conservative. The PS6 would be a 1TB console with 32 GB of RAM so it would be probably be $1,499 or more just for the console without tax calculated, but I am anticipating that SONY would subsidize the cost to bring it down to $1,199.

Based on current market conditions if the PS6 launches at $1,199 without a disc drive + ~$117 sales tax and a disc drive that is sold separately at $100 + ~$7 sales tax and launch games are $90 + ~$6 sales tax and an extra controllers is $90 + ~$7 sales tax would the console sell well and would you buy it? Total would be $1,616 (Tax and Prices Based on Los Angeles Location so it could be significantly more in other countries).

To people saying "I will still buy it" or "Day One" or "Stop being poor" if the PS6 is $1,000+

YOU might still be able to afford it but not everyone else will. Remember console are traditionally sold to the mainstream market and its appeal is affordability and easy setup. Rather then building a $1,000+ PC you could just get a PS5 for a couple hundred. What happens when affordability goes away?

- Will the parents working a normal 9 - 5 job stand wage job afford to drop $1,500+ on a PS6 for their child or instead have to think about rising prices of gas and food?
A parent would rather taken the $1,000+ and the $80 - $90 that would have gone to a console and game and instead put it into something else that is important OR they will be taking years to save up $1,000 to get the new console which will affect sales.

- What happens to game sales when there are less gamers buying consoles?
They drop because less people that own the consoles mean less people having the hardware that the games played on it. Whose going to buy the next God of War or SpiderMan when base PS6 console is $1,000...YOU might buy it but do you think those game will sell as much as they used to.

- What happens when studios and publishers sell less of their games then the previous iteration?
Hundreds or thousands of people get laid off, studios get shut down or games don't get sequels if they don't make the quota that executive and stakeholder set. If a game sell a million less then what is projected because there are a million less gamers that bought the console that is needed to play the game then lets just layoff enough people or close the studio down until we get back the loss.

YOU might be able to afford the console base on how much you make, but not everyone else can and fanboys and people that will buy anything need to know that because its not just YOU that is going to keep gaming alive but instead its EVERYONE else that will.

Based on current market conditions the PS6 launches at $1,199 without a disc drive + ~$117 sales tax and a disc drive that is sold separately at $100 + ~$7 sales tax and launch games are $90 + ~$6 sales tax and an extra controllers is $90 + ~$7 sales tax so the total would be $1,616 (Tax and Prices Based on Los Angeles Location)

For the love of god can someone tell me how to get Gemini 3.5 to generate someone in a three-quarter pose with the camera like 20 feet away? Gemini 3.5 just keeps ignoring the prompt.

I am having an extremely difficult time generating a very simple image. A person standing in a three-quarter view with the camera at a distance of about 20 feet away. I enter this into Gemini and it will not budge at all with the camera distance. I tried 7 generation and they all remained the exact same distance even though Gemini answered apologizing and saying it is generating another one with the camera 20 feet away which it doesn't. Wasted 7 generation. Another issue is that it is ignoring the camera angle. With the previous versions of Gemini if I say three-quarter view the camera would be placed at an angle that is between a side and front view. This worked all the time, but now in Gemini 3.5 it is absolutely ignoring it. At first it would just do a straight on view of the person and then when I told it that this is wrong and it didn't follow my directions and that I wanted a three-quarter view it apologize and then generated a side view. It then apologized and said that it is going to correctly generate a three-quarter view and instead generate the same side view pointing in the other direction and the generated another one in which the view is straight forward again. I am literally going crazy with Gemini 3.5 not listening at all and just doing whatever it wants.

Found my GTA IV Key to the City actual metal key complete set that was sent to me from Rockstar back in 2008 for 100% completion of GTA IV within a week of release. Around 100 was said to have been made but figures go up to 500 - 1,000.

This is my GTA IV Key to the City actual metal key complete set. The only way to obtain this item is that you have to fully complete the game GTA IV 100% within a week after release and Rockstar was said to have only sent out this to the first 100 people that actually did this. You could not buy this. Even rarer is that some people threw out the white box and the letter too so finding those along with the key and jewel set is incredibly rare. I was wondering what do you think is the value of this?

I've heard anywhere from $500 - $1,000 all the way to $2,000 - $3,000 and it varies depending on if the set has the white box and the letter. I'm also worried about the staining on the white box. The fold on the card was made by Rockstar themselves because the actual card is too wide to fit in the black jewel case or the white box. It had to be folded in half to be put in the jewel case.

I have a 8 year old Samsung Smart T.V. that has been working fine. Today I opened up the YouTube app and notice that at the top of the Home section there's a message that said "This device no longer fully supports YouTube" which wasn't their last night. I did check the app version and it has a date of 05/05/2026. Anyways after googling I read that this usually means that the YouTube app on my Smart T.V. is on the final phase and could shut down soon. How long after seeing this message does the app still stay functional before it doesn't load onto the app dashboard or even load up at all? It currently is still working.

In the past if you uploaded a for example 768 x 768 image of a dog standing still and tell Gemini to generate an image of the dog running its supposed to generate a 768 x 768 image of a dog running. Its supposed to use the same image dimension in the same orientation that is in the original photo. For some reason Gemini is randomly selecting image sizes for me. I would upload an image that is 842 x 1024 and tell it to generate something from that image and sometimes it would give me an image that is 768 x 1024 or 848 x 1024 or instead rotate the image and give me a wide landscape image instead of a portrait image from the original. Its random sizing. Is this happening to anyone else?
