Abyss has new libraries

In abyss we call them packs
But I’ve made a bunch if new ones to make abyss better, they include:

A Qol that autocompletes and shows bracket pairs

A ui customizer

A sprite system

An easy save system

And a few to make making visual novels easier

Github is in this subreddit’s description

More packs to come.

And hey, if you want, make your own (it would be appreciated)

My open source game engine: Abyss

I know there’s already a bunch of open source game engines (i had to change this one’s name to avoid trademarks because of that)

Abyss (and its programming language) are self hosted and self compiled

(and written in Hash)

abyss has the unique feature of you being able to edit it’s source code within the engine itself.

Abyss uses the custom function based programming language Hash

Hash is designed to be simple and easy to learn. The goal is that over time you change stuff about it and make it better for you specifically.

(Hash documentation is built into abyss, so I won’t explain any more yet)

let me know what y'all think of my first open source project. I’m sure happy with it

Github link: https://github.com/thecodegangster/abyss-engine/tree/main
(the html file is the source code, I like standalone html apps, I think they’re neat)

followup on my game based of bcs, looking for card ideas

so physical games are hard, so im not doin that. but i am making a web game with similar gameplay to bcs. i'm using a military theme (soldiers, turrets, equipment) and im thinking of adding a system where you can create cards in the game, people vote on them, and they get added automatically. but i do need some cards to start out. post your card ideas here and have your name added to the credits

update for clarity: game is in progress, playable build should be expected before next month (no promises)

Concept:

What if I just took the gameplay of this game (removed btd stuff for copyright) and made it a physical card game. Would y'all buy/play that (alternatively I just redo the game as a web game)

Need help with a bf challenge

The idea is simple:
if the current cell=12 move 12 left
If it equals 25 move 25 left
Etc
I need a program that can move left once for each “point” in the cell
There is important data in that area, so it has to be not disruptive

Any ideas?
(if your solution works you will be featured in the credits for the game I’m using this for)

How do I help my friend

My friend gets very depressive when they don’t have a friend over every day, and they refuse to take any anti-depressants or go to therapy

If you need more info to help I can provide it
What can it do?

Edit for context on severity: She has said many times that without her friends she wouldn’t be here (aka sewerslide)

microfactory has officially added saving

microfactory by thecodegangster

i have been playing my own game for a while, and have realized that it lacked one thing in particular SAVING

thanks to the newest update you can now save your game and continue playing later

also to coincide with this i have added 2 new planets with resources to harvest

AND the long needed feature of "fog of learning"

which means that you don't get shown a recipe until you have it's ingredients

this should make learning to play the game way easier

the games itch page is here: microfactory by thecodegangster

i hope you enjoy microfactory 1.5.0

please write any feedback here or on the itch page, and have a good day

Me and my friends came up with this while watching an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet:

Romeo and Juliet except Romeo is just schizophrenic and Juliet doesn't exist
