We all know that D+ is some European countries (Italy included, where I'm living) is having legal issues with 4K and HDR.
It's been two days since D+ has partially solved only 4K by moving from HVEC codec to VP9 Profile 0, yet on my Google TV Streamer the 4K still remain not available in D+.
Anyone else?
I bought a brand new Google TV Streamer 4K connected to a Marantz Cinema 50.caoable of both DD and DTS and Atmos.
I only have connected 5.1 speakers.
By default the streamer has Audio Options - Output Format set to Auto, but I get the following kn my trceiver
- a - if movie is Atmos, under movie sound on my receiver I get only Atmos or Stereo
- b - if movie is DD or DD+ I get only Dolby Surround or Multichannel Stereo
Why?
I have read I should enable audio passthrough but it seems this is not possible, so somewhere else it is suggested to select DD+ under Output Format.
Now under both cases -a- and -b- above I get DD+ so in case -a- I don't get Atmos any longer.
I setup the switch and the bulb in Google Home using my Google TV Streamer as hub, I have created two routines to turn on/off the bulb when clicking on the on/off buttoned of the switch, but routines are not working.
After D+ ha re-enabled at least ONLY 4K in europe, anyone with a NVIDIA SHIELD PRO and with a GOOGLE TV STREAMER 4K that can confirm if 4K now works or both or either one?

I installed July update and now when clicking on the search bar the animation is very slow and stutters.
Anyone can suggest a vibration sensor compatible with Google Home that doesn't require a hub?
I need something that works like my best cameras: turns on when I am away, off when I am home and send a notification if when on a vibration is detected.
I have tried several on Amazon (all the same actually) but none works properly with Google Home.

I have three standalone devices working directly with Google Home (Best Thermostat, Nest Cam, Tapo Lightbulb).
I bought yesterday an IKEA kit made by a lightbulb and a switch, labeled with "matter" and non other label requiring an extra hub.
Well, once at home, scanning the qr code, the Google Home app says the device needs a "matter I ER thread" hub.
Not gonna a drive back to Ikea for 13€ (it's gonna cost me more of petrol): which option so I have? Any cheap hub I can use with Ikea matter devices and compatible with other devices?

Gemini connects to the phone extension, finds the contact but then the following error "There's been a problem".
I tried clearing all caches etc etc disabling and re-enabling the phone extension in Gemini etc etc all to no avail.

How do I show on my website in the app a link to my PERSONAL PAGE named "My social links"? In practice I need a way to makwe sure that some using the app and clicking on my website can easily find a link to my PERSONALISED PAGE.
It's been over a month and after four updates I am still no longer able to change notification tone, I am stuck with the one provided by the app. The problem seems to be the media access has been removed from authorization list.
