Anxiety hangover...when does it end??

So i had a pretty bad bought of anxiety for 4 days straight, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep well but constantly tired, pit in stomach, body tensions. I'm starting to feel some relief, able to eat a little and manage daily tasks, but I'm still constantly exhausted despite napping during the day. The only thing I can compare it to is a hangover. Anyone have this after an anxiety bout?

Tips for breakthrough anxiety

I'm on day 3 of breakthrough anxiety. Even though I do take lexapro 10 mg, I'm wondering what everybody's tips and tricks are for when this happens to them. Currently, I have nausea constant pit In my stomach, dizziness feeling that fight or flight feeling. The depression has never been my issue. It's always been anxiety, but right now because of the anxiety, it definitely brings me down, and all I want to do is sleep. While I know that my body does need resr right now, I'm not sure if sleeping it away is the best thing to do or if I should keep trying to get up and just power through by keeping myself busy and occupied, which is what I've been doing. I'd love to hear anybody else's tips for when this happens to them. I am calling my doctor tomorrow to discuss possibly going up a little bit in my medicine dose

Should I expect fatigue with increase?

Going up from 10mg to 15mg. I haven't committed to a date yet though because i'm so scared of side effects restarting, particularly the fatigue. It took me a good 12 weeks to get what little bit of energy that I have back after starting Lexapro. Should I expect that fatigue to kick in again?

Any Southeastern Kentucky meet up groups?

I'm a 46 year old mom, lived here for 4 years and have not found my people. I work from home which doesnt help and my kids are older so I'm not really meeting any parents through the school circuit. I grew up with the same group of friends from kindergarten all the way into adulthood, so this having to meet new friends is very new to me. The problem is I don't know how to meet them. I know church is a HUGE source of socializing here but I'm not religious. Not against it or anything, church just isn't for me. Tried a couple facebook meet up groups but I was the oldest one surrounded by 20 and 30 year old with babies. Anyone know of any meet ups in the Tri County area? London, Corbin, Williamsburg?

Did anyone's energy INCREASE with dose increase?

I've been on 10mg for about 4 months now and have felt great up until the last couple weeks. The tiredness is creeping back in as well as some anxiety. I got the OK from my doc to increase if I feel the need, and I think that's where I'm at now. Has anyone had their energy improve with an increase? Im wondering if its my anxiety creeping back in that's making me tiredness hit again? Im thinking about going to 15mg

Breakthrough Anxiety suggestions

I've struggled with breakthrough anxiety every couple months for a while now despite taking SSRI for several years. I do think peri menopause has a lot to do with it as well. I recently went back to Lexapro in March after many years on prozac and its been great! My health anxiety has been almost non existent as well as my regular anxiety and I really thought that I wouldn't struggle anymore. But here I sit for last several days with heart palps and chest heaviness again 😒. Does anyone have any tricks outside of the usual breathing techniques and other relaxation ways that have helped them? I know its anxiety and that alone helps me stay calm, but i get super edgy because it irritates me. I'd love some out of the box suggestions!

Cannot get good rise

So I've been making sourdough for almost two years now and have had great success with beautiful loaves until recent. For the life of me I cannot get a good rise! And my scoring always just seems to spread flat no matter which technique I try. This is today's loaf. Tastes great, texture is great and its sufficient enough for good sandwiches which I know that's what's most important, but anyone have any idea what gives?? I have a very strong starter and I've tried even tried timing the steps where I've never had to do that before. Recipe as follows 350 g water 100 g starter 500 g flour 10 g salt

Sweat bee problem, anyone???

Anyone have an issue with being assaulted by these bastards while trying to enjoy a peaceful float? I just skimmed 15 out of my pool after being stung twice in the first 5 minutes of entering. I've heard that dragonflies are a deterrent and found some fake dragonfly clips that are supposed yo work if you clip them around your pool. Anyone ever tried that or anything else??

Neighbors leitchfield on our property

We live in a small town in SE Kentucky where many people take it upon themselves to do installs of all sorts without proper documents or permission. 4 years ago we bought a house on a few acres with our closest neighbor owning a run down single wide that he rents out and he is the definition of a slumlord who apparently is an "electrician, plumber" jack of all trades.....So fast forward to today, my in-laws are moving on our property and are in the process of building their home. We had surveys done and have our deed so we know the property lines as well. While the electrician was digging to start the electric work he came upon the neighbors leitchfield right where my in-laws house will be. It was not to code, not even installed right so therefore would not have passed inspection so likely was done on the sly. The plumbers who are working on the house said that the neighbor would not have a leg to stand on since it was done illegally and suggested to cap it off as its right in the area where the electric need to run. They said we can give the owner a courtesy call before capping it off but regardless there is nothing he can do to stop us. And there is no easement either, 1st thing we did was check our deed. Anyone ever dealt with a situation like this? Obviously we don't want any bad blood with the neighbor, but its pretty evident that he did this himself knowing very well it was on our property. It goes out a good 50 feet over the property line

Is it truly possible to get off these??

Long time ssri user. Started with Lexapro 20 years ago, after 5 years went to Prozac and after 14-ish years on Prozac I'm back on Lexapro for the last 4 months . Reason for being back on Lexapro is I had great success on it back then, but had to be switched to Prozac after having a baby and the post partum was rough, Lexapro wasnt helping. Prozac was good to me until the last couple years. I went through some health scares that turned out fine thankfully, and lost someone close to me and my anxiety kept coming back heavy every few weeks. Tried to increase the Prozac but couldn't tolerate anything over 20mg, tried to add Buspar and that was a nightmare. Since being back on Lexapro my anxiety is almost non existent which is great, but I feel like shit other wise. The fatigue sucks, the not wanting to do anything is so unlike me. I know its hard to get off these and most people rebound even worse after getting off, obviously I don't want that. But I'm just wondering how hard it would be after only taking the Lexapro for 4 months? Any success stories? It's honestly probably something that my doctor will advise against and I'm sure that I'll need something forever. Im just thinking out loud I guess. But I'd love to hear any success stories!

Losartan 25mg, BP high when standing

I'm 21 days on 25 mg of Losartan and its definitely helping my bp, almost at normal range while sitting around. But I started checking it after doing normal activities like dishes, laundry or just standing, and its pretty high. Today while just standing at kitchen counter it was 135/109. I have a follow up next week and I'll obviously be bringing this up. But anyone else have this? I'm thinking she'll want me to increase the dose but then I worry I'll get too low when resting. I'm new to this and really have no clue about any of it, so I'd love to hear how others navigated this

Water from bottom loading water dispenser tastes gross

I have this water dispenser, bought it two years ago and recently the water started to taste dusty/moldy. I have ran the recommended vinegar solution 3 times and even bought the actual cleaning product for these machines with no luck. Anyone have any other advise? I'm ready to toss it at this point. An we do get our water from a service and i did try the water straight out of the bottle thinking it may be the actual water but it tastes fine

Anyone get the jitters on Losartan?

Been taking 25mg of Losartan for a couple weeks now and I feel ok for the most part and my BP is definitely lowering, but I notice at times I get jittery feeling on the inside, almost like the feeling if your sugar is low. But not shaking on the outside, just feel like my body is vibrating. Anyone else get this?

Wondering how you finally got answers

For the last 15 years I've been trying to find out what is going on with me. I've seen 3 different rheumatologists in that time frame due to chronic body pain, fatigue and increased inflammatory markers. All of my other labs are pretty normal and I know rheum has ordered extensive labs outside of the norm CBC's. My primary is convinced that I most likely have psoriatic arthritis as i do have very mild psoriasis that flares up on my knuckles, but rheums all say inconclusive. So over this time especially as I'm getting older, the pain and fatigue are getting worse and my doc wants me to go back to rheum as its been a couple years. But I'm just wondering what if its something else and not autoimmune? And how would I even address that because I have no idea what to suggest? I've found that I really have to advocate for myself and its exhausting. What steps have others taken to get to the bottom of health issues when it just seems like docs might be looking in the wrong direction? I'm not daying its not autoimmune, I'm just wondering if there's other avenues to explore. I'm a 47 year old woman and its so damn hard seeing my friends the same age enjoying life with tons if energy

Falling-ish feeling upon opening eyes

So this might be a little hard to explain and I'm not sure if this is anxiety related, sleep issue related or something wrong with my head 🫠. It doesn't happen every time I'm waking up and I'm not even sure this isn't why I keep waking up, but upon opening my eyes I almost feel as if my equilibrium is off and my head is sinking into the pillow further, then the second I'm actually really awake it's completely gone. Last night it happened so many times and has really put me out of sorts today as it definitely triggered some anxiety. I brought this up to my doc a while back and she kept saying a type of migraine possibly, but I really don't feel that's it. I was struggling with anxiety pretty bad so I truly did think that was it, but I switched to a new ssri back in March and my anxiety has been almost not existent, until last night lol, and it hasn't happened in a while. Anyone ever have this? I'm ready to request some brain scans and i know my doc will think I'm nuts. Lol
