Picked up a BGS 8.5 Pokemon Umbreon the other day. If I cross-grade to a PSA 9, the market value of this card will double from what I paid for it.

The sub-grades are pretty strong and it looks clean. Does anyone have any experience cross-grading Pokemon cards here?

I think it's worth taking a risk here for a PSA 9 minimum, but open to comments or thoughts.

Bought a CGC slab on eBay. This is the front/back view through the slab.

It’s on the way to Authenticator and the slab checks out. But some of the lettering looks a bit off — the “a” in Dark Gaze seems a tiny bit different from what I see on TCG player.

Maybe I’m just overthinking it but would appreciate any advice! Not sure I 100% trust eBay verification haha

I personally prefer the Japanese version over English - I feel the language matches the card better.

Also, before anyone flames me in the comments, yes I am aware the reverse holo is much rarer and more valuable.

I am arguing the regular Holo version of this card is still overlooked and undervalued (in both English and Japanese).
