I can’t find crossbars for these rails
I need flat cross bars and I can’t find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find some?
Anyone try installing coyote long tube headers?
I know that people in the coyote swap world use 4.6 long tube headers and just cut and swap the flanges and mount them on their engines but can’t I just do the opposite?
I think I may have to upgrade to long tubes. My cats are getting hot and I feel it might be time. Unfortunately, cats themselves are stupid expensive and so are crown vic and 4.6 mustang headers.
Found a set of coyote headers for 250 and thinking about doing it. Would I also need to do a tune after?
My floorboard is getting really hot
I don’t know if it’s because I drove barefoot today but the floorboard was unbearably hot. I drove 30 minutes today and by the end, I had to put my flip flops back on.
I checked the passenger side and it wasn’t hot at all. What is going on? I’m not getting a check engine light so I don’t think it’s the cat. How can I fix this? It’s a 2008 CVPI
Are these termites?
Was pulling weeds and found these guys. I am in Texas near San Antonio. They were found near my fence in the backyard.
I also did a termite inspection for my house and it came back negative so I’m sure this should not be a termite.
Update: dug around again and found them collaborating with the fire ants. What does this mean?
Radio not turning on anymore?
Redid the wires on my digital radio as I was having issues on it and the previous owner did a terrible job. It would turn on but wouldn’t transmit sound but used to.
I soldered the connections and put it back in to test it. I forgot to insulate the soldered wires and I saw a spark on the wires. It wouldn’t turn on at all. I assumed maybe the radio itself short circuited so I went into the fuse #12 and replaced it.
Still not turning on. I tried it with the old radio and even the old radio isn’t turning on. At all. Did I fuck something up with the car?
Germinated this Anbar date in a week
I left these seeds germinating in my garage here in Texas and 3/4 germinated in less than a week!
Need roof rack for work but don’t want to put holes in it
I need extra money and I need a roof rack for my car to start work. For work, I have to have two different ladders. Is there a way I can install a roof rack without putting holes in my almost pristine car? I really don’t want to do this but I don’t have a choice right now. I need this job
What are my options? I got a 2007 escape roof rack from the yard today but there is a set of 6 holes I have to drill into my roof for them to work
Is this a German roach in my backyard…?
Found in Texas. I really hope it’s not a German one
Does Hollywood have a giant lot of crown Victorias?
I’m rewatching The Boys and I swear there is a different variant of the crown vic in every episode. Where do they get them from?
What palm tree seed is this?
Found this seed under a palm tree but forgot to take a picture of it. I can’t find out online what palm tree it is. It had same seeds hanging from it. Found in Virgin Islands
Does anyone have that fake post of the guy in the junkyard finding a hotrod vic?
He made bogus claims and when people asked him for pics he shut up. I need a good laugh. I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Can someone show me this post or screenshot of it? I think it’s
old though tbh
What gives the Crown Vic the iconic “whirr” when it accelerates?
I’ve never driven the early mustangs so I don’t know if they have the same sound. Is it just the way the engine is or the exhaust or what? And does the 4v have this sound as well?
Did the upper control arms, front and rear struts, and rear springs. I ended up getting a slight lift which I like since it’s not too crazy but it’s a hair higher than factory. I should also change them anyway since they are probably still from the factory.
(Update: they are from 2013)
For some reason, I feel like the tires look small now. They are 235/55/17 so I’m thinking 235/65/17 wouldn’t look too big and proportional
Parts are:
MOOG upper control arms
Motorcraft factory rear struts
Tahoe rear springs
Early Explorer rear struts with interceptor eyelets welded for front
