A bit of advice please

60M, T1 for 34 years and my diabetes educator has suggested the Omnipod will be good for me. Current HbA1c sits at around 7%.
I have long had an aversion to pumps for some reason and am still reluctant. For those of you who might be similar to me, would you recommend? How is it living with the device?
