What's an underrated way a college student can make money?

I'm a college student, and trust me when I say this, even though I'm not broke, I always find ways to make myself go broke. I have way too many wants and very little money, which already has to cover food, travel, and basically all the necessary expenses.
Now here's the deal. I know I won't stop spending money, but what I \*can\* do is earn more.
Can someone suggest some good, underrated ways to earn money that are easily accessible? I'm not looking for generic suggestions like tutoring. I'm looking for things more along the lines of messaging an Instagram account and getting paid for a post. I actually did that once!
Please drop your best suggestions. If you have any saving tips too, feel free to share them, although I don't know how much I'll actually follow them 😭. They might help someone else!

Can someone please explain this to me??

So in a student who has their college in another city and im quite happy and confident when im there, im studying, im involved in college projects and overall i work hard, and im genuinely happy like you could tell im glowing but i have recently realised that whenever im back home for my holidays or for a longer period of time, i become extremely negative and even anxious, i think of things which i usually wont, i also become under-confident and demotivated, and kinda become reserved too, why is this happening? Can it be because of the environment in my home? Or the fact that i just become lazy and take home for granted?

Need pocket-friendly birthday gift ideas for a 20-year-old guy

So basically, my friend's birthday is in two days, and I can't really order anything online anymore. I have no clue what to get him. I don't even know his clothing size, so gifting clothes is out of the question.
He's around 20 years old, really into theatre, and he was my gym buddy for the longest time. I'm looking for something thoughtful and pocket-friendly that doesn't feel generic.

What’s the best piece of advice for someone who has been in multiple toxic relationships?

I have been in 2 relationships and both of them happened to be extremely toxic, here are some of my key takeaways:
• Never sacrifice your personal interests to spend time with your partner
• Communication is only the key when both the parties effectively act upon it
• Two wrongs don’t make one right
• Always date to stay happy and not date to marry

What’s the most scandalous tea you’ve ever come across in your school?

I’ll go first.
So there was this senior in my school, let’s name her Tulip, who was literally the heartthrob of all the guys in her batch. She was literally the most perfect-looking girl ever. She had long hair, almond-shaped eyes, and looked like she was literally an angel. But she came from a very strict and conservative Air Force family. Her dad was a senior commander and was extremely protective of Tulip.
She happened to fall in love with a guy, let’s call him Yoyo. Now Yoyo wasn’t the best-looking, nor was he very smart either, but he had very strong political connections. He was the nephew of the city's MLA and had a lot of influence through his family. Overall, he wasn’t ambitious at all, and it was pretty evident that he was just living off his family’s money.
Both of them were dating, the entire school knew about it, and they seemed quite happy together. Everything between them was going fine until one day Tulip found out that she was pregnant. Of course, she told Yoyo about it. Yoyo had almost no reaction because he was genuinely a manchild. It was kinda obvious that he didn’t want the kid since he was incapable of taking responsibility.
The news spread like wildfire throughout the school, and it got so bad that all the teachers got to know about it. Somehow, even the principal got involved (which I still don't understand because it was literally none of their business). The principal decided to call both sets of parents and tell them everything.
Apparently, both families were completely clueless about what had happened. The teachers told both families in front of Tulip and Yoyo. As soon as Tulip’s father heard it, he slapped her (which was really unnecessary btw), and Tulip immediately started crying. This all happened right in front of Yoyo, and he didn’t utter a single word.
Both families were mentally on the same page about aborting the child, even before anyone said it out loud. But then Yoyo’s MLA uncle said something that absolutely pissed Tulip’s father off.
She said, "Elections are coming. We’ll offer you money to abort the child."
Tulip’s father was absolutely fuming. He was a very sincere Air Force officer, and he completely lost it. He started shouting, and apparently some people even heard the argument from outside. The teachers had to step in to calm the situation, but both families were constantly abusing and cussing each other. Eventually, Tulip’s father stormed out with her, and Yoyo’s family left as well.
After that day, neither of them was seen in school. Later, everyone found out that Yoyo had left the school, and Tulip’s father had sent her to a very strict boarding school.
So yeah, that was probably the wildest piece of school gossip I've ever witnessed

Men of Reddit, what would you make of this situation?

I (20F) need some outside perspective because this has genuinely been confusing me for months.
A few months ago, I got out of a pretty serious relationship. I was extremely attached to that person, so moving on wasn't easy. By the time this story starts, I was mostly over it, but I definitely wasn't looking for anything new. I was focused on myself and genuinely not interested in dating anyone.

Then this guy somehow entered my life.
We met through a common event where we both held leadership positions. We mostly interacted in groups, but from the beginning, I always felt like he looked at me with a certain warmth. Nothing obvious, just enough to make me notice.
At one point, we were supposed to have a meeting for the same event, which would've been a good chance for us to actually talk. Then, right in front of me, he suddenly had to rush off because of a family emergency which was later explained to me by one of his friends, and that never ended up happening.

After that, we kept randomly bumping into each other over the next couple of months. A lot.
Not in a "we have the same classes" way. Just randomly. We'd keep ending up in the same places, and we'd constantly make eye contact. It got to a point where I couldn't help but notice it.

One time I was leaving somewhere while he was entering with one of his friends. His friend made a terrible joke, I gave a comeback, and he looked at me, smiled, and said, "No, that's not going to happen."
It wasn't a huge interaction, but I remember finding it funny.

A little later, he randomly came up with his friend and did one of those fake flinch pranks on me. When I didn't react, he immediately turned to his friend and said, "See? She didn't flinch."
I still have no idea why that interaction happened, but for some reason I remember it.

Then there was a group dinner.
It was probably the first time we'd actually exchanged more than 45 seconds worth of words. We still didn't talk much, but he explained a few things to me during the conversation, I made a couple of jokes without even trying to be funny, and he laughed at them.
Other than that, he was pretty chill. We weren't sitting there having some long conversation, but it was the first time we'd actually interacted properly.

Then another time I was talking with friends and he was sitting behind me. Out of nowhere he called my name and jokingly went, "Shhh, *my name* don't talk so much," while laughing.
Again, not a huge moment, but it stuck with me.
None of these interactions were major by themselves, but together they made me feel like there was some sort of familiarity there.

Then one night at around 3 AM, I was drunk and talking to my friend about all of this. I told my friend that I thought this guy might want to talk to me. Not necessarily like me. Just talk to me.
My friend told me to stop overthinking and text him.
So I did.
The next morning, I woke up and saw that he had liked my message and replied. I replied back.
And then he never responded again.
That was it.
The funniest part is that I literally saw him later that same day and we somehow still made eye contact like nothing had happened.
At that point, I genuinely felt like we were communicating more through eye contact than actual messages.

After all these incidents we didn’t really see each other much because it was the exam week and I thought this was the end of whatever the situation we were in, but there was this one last weird coincidence.
I had gone to the hospital because I wasn't feeling well. When I came back to campus, we somehow entered the college at exactly the same time. The campus wasn't even busy at that hour, which made it feel even stranger.

After that, semester break happened and I stopped seeing him altogether.
Since then, I've heard from multiple people that he hasn't really dated anyone in university. Apparently people have approached him before, but nothing serious has ever come out of it. From what I've heard, he doesn't seem completely uninterested in dating, but he also doesn't seem particularly invested when someone approaches him. Also, I see him liking stories and posts of other girls on Instagram but he never liked any of my posts.

So now I'm confused.
Did I completely misread this situation?
Was there actually something there?
Did I somehow kill it by texting him?
Or do I not even like him and just like the mystery of someone I never really got to know?
Because if I'm being honest, I don't know whether I liked him, liked the attention, or got attached to the idea of what could have been.
So what do you guys think?

I am wasting my parents’ money

So, I am a 20-year-old pursuing a B.Com (Hons.) at a liberal arts college. I am a decently smart student and am great at extracurricular activities, but this degree costs about four years of my life and about 25 lakh including academic and hostel fees. And oh boy, it's a lot considering the fact that I am doing a Bcom degree, which has no value in the job marketplace. I come from a middle-class family where I have seen a fair share of financial struggles, especially in my childhood. But since my dad is a hardworking man who knows how to save, he has been able to fund both my and my brother's education.
My brother's degree is costing about the same, but his degree has a high return on investment since he's into medicine. So, in total, my dad is spending a lot, plus all the other daily expenses.
My parents want me to get a professional degree in addition to my academic degree, but for some reason I really don't see my future in the financial sector. At the same time, I find it peaceful staying away from my parents because my mental health is better and I am able to explore a lot of hobbies that I always wanted to try.
Which kind of makes me worried that I am wasting my parents' money. I don't know if I am making the right decision and since I am already halfway through completing my degree, everything is adding up and making me nervous.
