I Buried Steve "3D Ultimate Chicken Horse"

Game Title: I Buried Steve

Playable Link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5031430/I_Buried_Steve/

Platform: PC (Windows) Steam

A chaotic beach party game where you build the level as you play. Place devious hidden traps to sabotage your friends, without accidentally sabotaging yourself.

Each round starts at the tiki bar. You draft a private set of hazards, fly out over the beach, and hide them in the sand. Nobody sees what anyone else placed. Then the countdown hits zero and all eight players sprint at once, floodwater rising behind them, through a course eight people have secretly sabotaged.

Score points for catching rivals in your traps. Regularly forget where you put your own spinning blade.

The free demo is out now. I'd love some feedback

Free to Play Status: Demo

Involvement: I'm the solo dev

I made a party game where you build the track with friends, then race it

I Buried Steve is a party game where the level doesn't exist until you and your friends build it together then everyone races what you just made.

This clip shows the full loop: build phase → race phase, back to back.

Still early / in development

would love to hear what you think of the concept.

Making a game where the players ARE the level designer

Working on a coop game where you and your friends build a level together — placing traps, platforms, and powerups — then everyone races through what you built at once.

Everything you place is secret until the round starts, so you never know what you're running into. Ramps, spike traps, boulders, launch pads - build to help yourself, or build to wreck everyone else.

Still early, but it's really coming together. Would love to hear what you think

After 6 months, my dice roguelike Payroll is out and somehow it's sitting at 100% positive reviews, which I still don't fully believe.

You're in debt to a loan shark, and the only way out is chaining dice combos into runs that snowball completely out of control. It's built so that clever beats lucky — the fun is in finding the broken interactions and abusing them before the odds catch up to you.

I wanted something that scratched the Slay the Spire "build an engine and watch it pop off" itch, but with dice instead of cards, so the combos feel more chaotic and physical.

I'm a solo dev and figuring out the marketing side has been brutal, honestly — way harder than building the thing. Happy to answer anything about the design, the dice math, or the (painful) launch process. Roast it, ask me stuff, whatever.

The average person spends 7 years of their life on their phone. I built something about that.

The average person spends 7 years of their life on their phone. I built something about that.

Seven years.

That is roughly how long the average person spends staring at a phone across a lifetime. I kept thinking about that number until I had to do something about it.

So I built Graze.

You raise a sheep called Woolly. She gets sick when you scroll blocked apps. She thrives when you stay off them. That is the whole concept and yes, it sounds ridiculous.

There are already plenty of screen time apps. Here is why I think this one is different.

Most screen time apps show you data. Data does not change behaviour. Caring about something does. Nobody wants to watch their sheep die.

What is in the app:

  1. Block any app, with Woolly holding you accountable

  2. Focus sessions that actually lock you in

  3. A clean stats view showing where your day goes

  4. A sheep whose state reflects your real habits

Built solo in Swift over six months. The Screen Time API was genuinely painful, the 3D modelling took twice as long as expected, and I almost cut the sheep entirely about three months in.

It is free on the App Store. The thing I cannot work out by myself is whether the sheep mechanic sounds stupid or brilliant when you actually try it. Both are valid. I just want to know which.

[iOS] Graze: Digital Detox - screen time app where your sheep dies when you scroll too much. Looking for testers!

Hey! Looking for people to try out Graze a screen time and app-blocking app with a twist.

Instead of just showing you a number you ignore, you have a sheep called Woolly. He visibly thrives when you put your phone down and slowly dies when you don't. Sounds silly but the emotional feedback loop is genuinely different to staring at a stat.

What it does:

Woolly's health reflects your real screen time

Block the apps draining your day

Run focus sessions

Track which apps are eating your time

I made an app where your sheep dies if you scroll too much

Meet Woolly. He's happy when you put your phone down. He slowly dies when you don't.

I got tired of screen time apps that just show you a number you feel bad about for 5 seconds and then ignore. So I built something where the cost feels real a little creature that actually suffers when you doom scroll, and visibly thrives when you don't.

You can also block the apps draining your day and run focus sessions. But honestly the sheep is the bit that actually changed my habits.

would love to know what you think.
