About to put Abodo up on our house and trying to pick fixings to go with it. Those silicon bronze nails do look real nice but I've been told they tend to oxidize and stain the cladding in black streaks. Stainless steel apparently does the same but to a much lesser extent. Anyone have any experience using these and how bad was the staining? Any know of nails that won't stain at all? Cheers.

First decent road trip in the car with a good mix of driving from motorways to windy mountain roads. This was done on the stock EcoContact tires at 38 PSI. Battery was charged to full the night before. 2 people, no heavy luggage. Outside temperature was around 14° and no aircon was used on the trip.

Total trip was 409km with an average speed of 69km/h and an efficiency of 14.7kW/100km according to the trip computer. At the end of the trip the car had 16% battery left which, after some basic math, leaves around 70km range remaining. Since no one is gonna run their car down to empty I reckon this car has 450km real world road trip range. Hope this helps people looking at this model or just trying to judge real world EV range vs WLTP range in general. This car has a advertised WLTP range of 520km.

Is it ok if only the outward facing sides of fascia and soffits are painted with top coat and the inward facing surfaces just kept with factory primer? The fascia boards have already been installed so getting paint on the backside is almost impossible. I can still do both sides of the soffit though as they haven't been put in yet. Using Resene Lumbersider low sheen paint.

Got inorganic collection coming up and you're only allowed a 1mx1mx1m area of rubbish. I need to get rid of a double mattress so I gotta try and cut it up. Anyone done this before got tips?

Edit: Ok just got confirmation from council that it's volume only and shape doesn't matter.
