It’s in pretty good shape, but will eventually try to clean it up and restore it a bit so it works better, would love for it to be my apron/pocket tape

Found this in a goodwill today. The vintage ones that came up when I searched were way old. Thought it could be fake, but the leather is very nice and soft so then thought maybe it’s real.
I coach my sons 9u team so would come in handy. But don’t want to jack it up if it’s something that’s expensive.

Love these boards of Ash! The first handle I made for this was a bit out of wack. Didn’t have a lathe and it wasn’t very straight.

I’m about halfway started and gotta get it done by Saturday. This is a lemonade trailer that my son’s special Olympics team got for the kids to work and raise money for the team.
My wife told the coach that I could fix it up and add some drawers and storage…
The big open cabinet will get 4 drawers, but it was out over an inch from top to bottom and about 3/4 from left to right. And how the original was set is crooked 🤦‍♂️
Nothing has been square or plumb or even close really. And it’s 102* everyday 😂
The things we do for our wives and children!

So after a storm a week or two ago(and a pool party before that) we got algae. I shocked it and ran the pump forever and constantly was sweeping it(above ground pool). It came back good within a few days. Then I was getting low salt alarm on our salt system. So I added a bag or two of same alarm as soon as it would come on. Then I added like 4-5 more bags, then I found out that the salt cells were full of calcium. By this time the algae is returning.
I take them out and start to soak them in vinegar but most of the corrosion came right off with an old toothbrush.
I cleaned them all off put them back in and now I’m getting a high salt alarm.
I drained it about 10% or so as it was already a bit low so I let it drain to just above the suction inlets , figured out the hard water we have is a bad thing for the salt system and got a hose filter and filled it back up to higher than it was
I shocked it again and the algae is gone but it’s still cloudy. So I’ve been letting the pump run.
Got some strips to test the water and the salt
The PH is a touch high
The alk is also a tad high
The FC and TC is a bit high but I figured that would be as I shocked it two days ago with liquid chlorine
I put in some more cya and that level is good.
Still getting a high salt alarm(but corrosion is starting to come back)
When I test the salt I get the first picture(x2) not a color on the list but seems to me to be more on the no salt side.
Any help is appreciated, especially if you made it this far, you are a saint!

So like I said my dad has this cart in his garage. Has a big shop that has turned into more of a store all than a work area and got this cart a couple years ago to have tools that are easier to get to than looking through the shop.
I got him the cup holder and the platform and I think the glove box holder for it. But trying to think of what else I could get him to go in his garage with it.
He has a garden that he works in and raises chickens, and that’s how he spends most of his time anymore.
I was thinking of the bucket organizer with better gardening tools or something. But would like to figure out something nicer than the bucket but easier to move around too🤷‍♂️

Pretty excited about this! I got one piece thinned down but did it by hand with a chisel after not being able to get the splitter to work, and it was not long enough. So after a few more fiddles with the razor blade and wood I was finally able to get it going and on a long enough piece!

Not sure if I need to replace anything or flush anything or what I should do. Thanks in advance for any help!
