Help us wish our girl Rin a happy 5th birthday today! She's been spoiled all day long haha.

5.5mm both sides. Although one side was a zero at one point so it's much more elastic than the other. But both sides look like this.

Took my wife down here for a couple days. We only ended doing a 6 mile hike due to having our doggo and the general area we hiked. But, we loved it!!

Also we need to get in better shape for these hikes! 6 miles did us in!

The colors dont last terribly long when they first molt. If you're lucky enough to see it, its such a cool thing!

Decided on FRX 80's, based on reccomendations in the sub.

Very excited to get back started! They are quite tight around the ankles. Getting them off and on is rough lol. Is this normal??

Last I skated was 11 years old and they were cheap skates. So I am unsure of what good skates should feel like. The liner in these is crazy thicker and better quality than what I had in my cheap skates years ago.

I'm the bald guy, FYI.

My wife and I went out for the first time and absolutely loved it!! Stood up even. A little shaky, but gets easier after a while.

What temp do you crank it to before you open the sear plate??

I ran it at 350, then opened at the door and plate and started searing. Doesn't seem to make a big open flame tbh. Not super impressed with the sear feature, but I could be doing it wrong.

I also get nervous it'll dump too many pellets at high temps and catch on fire 😅

Did the 3-2-1 method on the Pitboss website. Came out very, very good.

Used an apple juice/cider mixture to spray and keep moist, as well as in the aluminum foil boat. Didn't add the brown sugar, but used honey.

Tenderness was probably 8/10. Very good!

Flavor and taste was 10/10! Phenomenal.

Total time was about 5.5 hours. That last hour was more like 30 minutes with cranked to 250.

Any tips or criticism welcome!

Wife's newly pierced ear seems to have blown out here. Was pierced at a 2g. Or rather a 4 then immediately stretched to 2g.

Calling our piercer tomorrow, but in the meantime, whats the general advice here since its new???
