How can I tell how old this .45 bullet is? Found on the coast of Dieppe France.

I’m hoping this .45 bullet that I found in the tidepools along the coast of Dieppe France is from the Dieppe Raid of 1942 but how can I tell how old it is for sure?

Feel free to request more pictures/angles/videos

Found this bullet in the tide-pools of a beach in Dieppe, France. Anyone know what it is and how old it might be?

Found it a few years back while on vacation. I chucked it in my backpack, TSA never said anything and I eventually lost it until today when it randomly turned up on the floor of my passenger seat. Does anyone have a guess to what kind of bullet it is and how old it may be? I know basically nothing of guns and ammunition so any info is appreciated

My 10+ year old cactus

Forgot what kind of cacti it is but I planted it some time when I was 8-10 years old, I’m 21 now and still very proud of it! It’s gotten so tall.

This is petrified Wood that I just recently found glows under UV light. Idk if this falls into the “No requests” but does anyone know why?

Just got a UV black light to help expand my rock/ crystal/mineral collection and I noticed that parts of this petrified wood I found and cut glow a dim green under UV. Anyone know why?

If this post falls under the no requests please remove and I’m sorry haha.

Found on the riverbed in Butte Creek, Chico CA

I think it may be a fossil or petrified wood but honestly I have no clue. It’s black and very shiny, no translucency.

Any ideas?

Long shot… I know. Can anybody identify this yellow material in this quartz?

Surely it’s not gold right? Please pm or comment with any specific request to test what kind of rock/mineral/crystal it is. Found on a jobsite in Lincoln CA

One of my most prized finds and items in my collection. This is Petrified Wood I found in Tracy CA and cut into a thin slab.

In love with this piece. I’ll post a picture in the comments of it with a light under it, no picture or video will do it justice (especially my lil iPhone 12 mini)

What could this be? Found in Bear River off of Grass Valley Hwy in California

I found it in the river while panning. Honestly don’t even remember why I took it home I think it may have had some coloring showing on the outside and that’s why. But I ran it through the rock saw and got these awesome colors, patterns, and it’s surprisingly translucent! I’m wondering if I cut it the other direction if it may be some sort of agate? No idea though does anyone have some insight? Thank you!

Anyone know what this skull belongs to? My coworker suggested bobcat or some feline but I’m skeptical. Any ideas?

Edit: Solved Bobcat Skull

Everyone was very chill, he wasn’t mad and knew it was an accident and will be paid for. Pretty minor dent and a paint touch up will be needed for sure. How much should I send as a precursor payment as a show of good faith and might cover the cost before he goes and gets an estimate?

It’s very shiny in light, very white, and has a bit of translucency. Definitely stood out among the other rocks. Any ideas what it is? Is it just quartz?
