So happy :)

I finally understood my undertone… cool pink purple shades look really bad on me whereas warm peach, beige, light brown shades look rlly pretty… how can I do a full beat glam makeup with these shades tho? As these shades are on the lighter side…

I have oily acne prone skin
I’m currently using
The face shop - tea tree gel salicylic acid cleanser (both am and pm)
Bioderma ultra creame moisturiser (both am pm)
BOJ sunscreen (am)
Reequil retinol (pm)

These things have helped me control my acne since the past month but the PIH dark spots aren’t going…please recommend me a product for it

Project pan - empties from the last 6 months

L’Oréal gycolic gloss conditioner 6/10
It makes ur hair silky, shiny but abit brittle? As it gives 0 moisture or softness to it

Matrix mega smooth shampoo 9/10
One of my favourite shampoos ever, gonna repurchase this one, it smells amazing, great for treated hair….i just wish it cleansed abit more thoroughly as I have an oily scalp but I shampoo twice and it does the work !

L’Oréal extraordinary Oil/serum 8/10
I use it as a heat protectant on damp hair before blow drying it…and then use it on the ends when my hair is dry. Pretty good but too greasy if applied near roots.

Garnier micellar water 10/10
Best makeup remover ever ! Good for sensitive skin & eyes

L’Oréal hyaluronic serum - 9/10
Nice texture, not sticky, lightweight…worth the money but it MAKES 0 difference in ur skin texture lol it’s just a good serum to use before sunscreen or makeup

Help me pick out a perfume !

So I normally love fresh aqua scents but they seem too crisp now for this weather (it’s monsoon and getting colder where I live)
I’m looking for scents which are cozy, milky, comforting, creamy abit of warmth and sweetness to them but I don’t like extreme vanilla smells either😭idk I wanna smell like warm cozy sweater not like a cupcake 🧁 !!
I’ve decided I’ll buy this Treaclemoon body wash and lotion, let me know how it is if you’ve used them…
I need help picking out a perfume my budget is 2k please recommend me anything which will suit the vibe which I’m looking for and has good longevity and projection , I’m thinking ‘golden decade’ or ‘fields at nightfall intense’ both by Zara…please give me reviews for each and recommend me something else too :)

I can’t seem to loose my virginity even after trying thrice

Growing up in an Indian household who forbids me from dating….ive sort of rebelled and I’ve been dating my boyfriend since the last 4years… the starting 2 years were purely online, we never met. We met last year for the first time and then later even went on a trip together and idk we have great chemistry.
The first time, (on the trip) after making out for quite along time and I was reasonably wet too but as soon as he was on top of me and I saw him put the condom on I immediately felt so? idk guilty? That I was doing smtg bad and then I idk I got so scared and under pressure that oh omg smtg is gonna happen to me now and he also is relatively big in size? So I was scared that he wouldn’t even fit in me? I just started crying and then he started comforting me and we fell asleep.
The second time (4months ago) we again had a similar situation, there was so much of foreplay, he went down on me and everything was good but when it came to us actually doing it…I again froze and then idk ig he tried putting the tip in? But i was hurting me so bad for some reason and we stopped again and then he again comforted me.
The third time (3 weeks ago) we again did alot of foreplay…he fingered me alot, pretty fast? I didn’t even realise even he put his finger in, it didn’t seem to hurt at all, I enjoyed it….we even got lube this time but again when he tried putting his tip inside me even just a tiny bit it hurt so much…and again I started crying and he took care of me.
I don’t want a 4th time for this, I really love him and I feel bad that he’s being so understanding of me when I’m not able to even do anything.
What am I supposed to do?

Reviewing all these perfumes I own !

This list is no particular order

  1. The body shop - White musk
A very “clean girl” scent, it opens up with a fresh-sweet note and then after 2-3 mins settles down into a powdery musky scent which I love. I’ve gotten 2-3 compliments from it during the winter time. The longevity is insane, it stays on my clothes even after I’ve washed them sometimes.

  2. Pure seduction - Victoria’s secret
A cute, bubbly, fruity scent. it smells like bubblegum and cherries in the best way possible. Gives very first-date vibes, memorable. The longevity is mid lasts maybe 4hrs.

  3. Aqua kiss - Victoria’s secret
An amazing fresh scent, has the scent of lilies…feels like u just came out of the pool/beach.
Unfortunately it doesn’t even last for more than an hour.

  4. Dewy floral kiss - aqualogica
My least favourite one, it has a very strong alcoholic scent which lingers on…it smells tacky.

  5. Hawaiian rumba - Plum
A fresh-sweet beachy scent, the longevity is good it stays the entire day. I’ve gotten ALOTTTTT of compliments from this but only by men😭somehow all the women Ik don’t like it at all.

  6. Raindrops - Ajmal
Has a very bad alcoholic opening it thankfully disappears…it smells okay, like fresh rain but that’s it. Never received any compliments from it and doesn’t last that long either idk why ppl hype it up this much.

  7. Matin - nykaa
So far it has been my favourite scent ever…so amazing for an everyday scent for college or office and even normal outings. Best for summer and monsoon especially.
Smells like freshly watered white rose and greenery? In the best way possible…with time it settles down into a musky woodish scent on skin. The longevity is mid 3hrs, so I reapply it.

  8. Vanilla vibes - Plum
I don’t really like vanilla scents but this one was fine I guess, not too overpowering but never received any compliments from it whenever I wore it.

Why my opinion on Hinduism changed

I used to consider myself as an atheist for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a Hindu family (I’d say I’m maybe privileged too in that aspect as my family is very open minded, not misogynistic in the slightest, financially stable and emotionally supportive) I used to always find it amusing how we used to perform poojas for idols of god at home or temple when their main argument is “god is everywhere” then why that particular idol is worshipped then? Idk and also I never really was interested to learn anything about the rituals or customs because I found them abit too much…so I just thought that the religion isn’t really my cup of tea.
I gradually started learning more about abrahamic religions as they are definitely easier to comprehend, this might sound silly but their holy books are sort of like a rule book essentially stating the do and donts, morals, principles.
My opinion might change again as this is my personal relationship with god/religion/faith if I gain more knowledge on anything particular, etc but as of now, this moment, I’m not an atheist anymore and fully incline towards Hinduism 100%.
The problem I found to be with abrahamic religions for me is that their holy scriptures explicitly state “good vs bad” “punishment is hell, reward is heaven” it makes everything feel so black and white when life is actually pretty grey.
I also realised that yes I still don’t like any of the rituals and customs which Hindus follow, but I love the Religion of Hinduism.
People perform those certain poojas, etc to feel more connected to their divine being.
As Hinduism doesn’t have a particular book, it seems complicated to even get into or comprehend but it’s genuinely so likeable to me atleast. Reading the Mahabharata, the Geeta especially never really states any rules/conditons/punishment etc i like that it’s more of a philosophical and spiritual journey which u take upon urself instead of someone with instructions telling u what to do and what not to. You also cannot ever “convert” to Hinduism as it’s said that realisation of self and dharma means you already are in a path which resonated.
I’d recommend all of you to read ABOUT Mahabharata once, not to make u love Hinduism but for philosophical reasons too, I found it very interesting and complex.

It’s pathetically sad how this beautiful way of living is being capitalised by politicians for votes and fame, babas for money and respect and alot of evil men/women who use it just to appear devoted.
I’m not claiming to be an expert on this at all but I wish other people would care so much about their own religion, to actually LIVE in it and not keep defending it.

I’ve also been loving reading baby Krishna’s stories from when he lived in Gokul…I’m sorry if this is all wierd to everyone, this is all extremely new to me as I was disconnected from it my entire life and now I’m just so happy :)

Campus placements?

I’ll be doing bcom prof with CFA, how are the campus placements and usually the eligibility and cut offs?

Need info and any suggestions

Hi everyone :D I’ll be starting my college, BCOM soon so I was thinking alongside with it I’ll study for CFA, here are my questions

  1. When can I register to appear for the exam?

  2. Is it based on more conceptual understanding or just practice and solving questions over and over again

  3. For the exam itself, how much does it differ from other exams in India?
Do they give u marks weightage for each chapter? Do u have to solve previous year papers or is just conceptual clarity enough?Does it have any negative marking ?

  4. I’m aware there are 3 levels to this, can I start working as a CFA immediately after I pass level 1 or do I have to pass all 3?

  5. What is a decent package which I can expect if I stay in India for it?

  6. How many months of studying does passing each level require?

Also here are the subjects which I’m already good at/like studying so will they intersect with the topics for the exam and if not what should I focus more on? : I like both micro and macro economics, I like math too but not calculus and integration nd stuff😭I’m decent with probability and other statistics topics, I also like financial literacy and love English
