I can't imagine Ash as one person

I started listening to her music after Smoochies came out, but obviously I have heard her music before here and there. And not gonna lie, I listened to only her songs for months straight, I was in the top 0.09% of listeners...

And even after all this, I just cannot imagine her as the same person in different albums. The contrast between Demidevil, Weedkiller and Smoochies is so huge, it's like listening to 3 different artists. Especially between Weedkiller and Smoochies. She looks different, she sounds different, her music style is different, her lyrics are different. No matter how hard I try I just cannot imagine that it's the same person.

I'm curious about those who have been around since earlier, do you feel the same way? Or is it just that I joined late?

A man without female friends is a red flag

A man without female friends is a red flag. More precisely, a man that is capable of making friends, has male friends and has the opportunity to have female friends, but still doesn't have any, is a red flag. The contrary is also true, if a man has female friends, it's a green flag. Here is why.

I think many woman on here agree that we encountered countless situations where we thought a man genuinely wanted to be friends but it turned out he just wanted sex or a relationship. Or men saying that women are boring, not worth talking to, because men are smarter, more intelligent, have better hobbies etc. Nobody wants to date a man who thinks like this. Because it feels like he is only dating you to get sex, otherwise he is just tolerating you.

If a man has female friends, it proves many positive things about him. It proves he can view a woman who is not a relative purely in a platonic, non-sexual, non-romantic way. It proves he finds women interesting to talk to and hang out with in a non-sexual, non-romantic way. It proves he respects women and his relationship with his girlfriend.

Thousands of photos got the wrong date after transfer

I switched out my Galaxy S21 to a Pixel 10 Pro Fold (not my choice, it's a work phone since my old one had security issues, but this doesn't matter). I copied my data over on July 8th, including all the pictures I had on my old phone. But I have this problem now, in some apps, thousands of images are indexed to July 8th. In Google Photos and Files by Google, they have the core date and correct ordering. However in the Google Gallery app and media picker, those thousands of images appear at July 8th and it's extremely annoying, especially in media picker. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What everyday disadvantages of feminism do you experience?

As a woman, I experience the benefits of feminism every single day. I am able to go to university, vote, have my own property, speak freely, I'm not forced to marry and people generally don't look down on me for having a job.

Yet men seem to disagree that feminism overall is a positive thing. So I'm curious, what disadvantages of feminism do you, personally, experience in your everyday life? Not things that are too broad or may happen, but things that you personally experience currently or have experienced.

Also, you can add what disadvantages of feminism you think women experience every day, if you want.

Note: To people who are downvoting without answering the question, why? Why are you afraid to speak your mind?

My sister gets more looks from men than me

Whenever I go somewhere with my sister, I can't help but notice men staring at her, even making comments sometimes, while I barely get any.

And the reason why this bothers me isn't because of jealousy, not at all. It is because I'm 21, and my sister is 12. And these men think sexually of a kid rather than an adult. Don't get me wrong, I also hate men staring or commenting on me, but I'd much rather them do it to me than my sister. She's 12, damn it. And of course the best would be if they could at least just keep their mouths shut.

I remember very vividly this one time, I was walking home with my sister, and we passed by a group of adult men. One of them said "I'd fuck her" and the other one said "I like her little sister more". And this was 2 years ago. My sister was 10. I felt like I was going to throw up, luckily we were already close to home.

Please look out for your daughters, sisters, cousins, nieces.

What is the meaning of "It Girl"?

I have seen people say it on this sub, and I have seen videos of it too that this song makes people cry, like full-on sob. I assume the lyrics has some special meaning, but what does it mean? My native language is not English and I'm also autistic so I literally don't understand at all what the song is about. Can someone please explain? And why do people cry over it?

Intrusive thoughts about being poisoned/being part of a crime

This is a relatively new thing that started happening and I don't know where to put it.

The biggest part is my OCD is contamination however lately I have been having intrusive thoughts about being poisoned or being part of a crime. Specifically, when something unusual happens (especially around food), I get this thought that that means the food is poisoned/drugged, or that the unusual event is a dog whistle and now I'm accidentally taking part in a crime because they mistaked me for someone else. I know these thoughts are irrational and not real but it's still irritating because my brain keeps coming up with what ifs.

I remember that about a year ago I went to an ice cream shop with my grandma and sister and I asked for lavender ice cream and the lady at the counter asked if I have had lavender ice cream at their place before and I said no, and she said then she'll give me a sample. I got my ice cream and my brain immediately went to "this was a dog whistle and now there is drugs in your ice cream".

Today I went to McDonald's and they gave me the wrong drink and my brain immediately says "this means it's poisoned".

It has been happening more frequently and I don't know how to stop it. Does anyone else experience this?

Sexism in a 9th grade English book

These are from a 9th grade English book (for learning English as a foreign language), in a section called "stereotypes". Even back then when I was using this book, we were weirded out by it.
