I've finished it (blunderbuss)
This silly thing is finally made and functional!

Are they any bayonets that could fit well on a 1/2" round dowl rod?
Any advice for finding something like that?
Bayonet adjacent??
This popped up on my main feed after joining the GLT subreddit.
Would they need to officially be maces to be acceptable in this subreddit or are things like batons and clubs close enough?
Fails??
Stop me if I'm stretching it too far.

I fiiiiinally got the trigger to work reliably.
Buuut I had to get it in at this wonky jank angle.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I am putting together a blunderbuss from traditions.
When I have the trigger loose I can get it to press the seer and strike the hammer. But when I screw it in it seems to get stuck and block the hammer so I can't set it.
I assume it's up too far that it's blocking the seer.
I tried putting a little bit of wood loosely in there to test it but no difference so far.
Any advice?
There is a ying yang symbol on the other side.
I've been wondering what these mean.
Never done this before.
